Welcome to the V-Diet Crew
Just read your intro 4 scoops is over kill for the Surge Recovery…this is calorie based and one serving is enough for you…we started about the same weight as me.
By the way, the hunger kicks in second week
So I should just cut it down to 3 scoops? I’ll try it tomorrow after my next workout. Thanks for the advice.

Good luck on your journey to the road less traveled. I’m on day 16 myself and he enthusiasm has leveled out at this point. Q is definitely right about the hunger kicking in after the 14th day.
Though hunger is a physiological mechanism I think it has been triggered due to psychological wear and tear from laying in bed at night and rocking myself to sleep to the thoughts of grilled chicken salads, and salmon filets… This is enough to elicit a hunger response, no?
Anyway I digress my fellow V-dieter. Don’t mean to hijack your thread. Also I would knock your 2nd dose of HOT-ROX to 3-4 o’clock as 6 o’clock will still have you up at midnight and keeping a steal forged mind through adequate rest is the mental fortitude needed to get you through these turbulent times. Wow 16 days already, way to go. Today(Day 2, haha) I was doing laps around the mall for my NEPA and there is this fantastic pizza restaurant in there that I just couldn’t stop thinking about. I managed to control myself though, and Day2 is another success.
The HOT-ROX has no apparent effect on me, so I think I’ll stick with having it as scheduled with my shakes. Unfortunatley with my work schedule today a few of my shakes were later than planned but everything went smooth. I’m looking forward to the PB+Flax I’m about to have in an hour though.
Thanks for your words of encouragement and advice.

Tough it out the whole way, it’s worth it. Also you’ll find yourself trying to think “well i’ve worked so hard these past few days, I can eat one thing etc”.
Don’t do it, your stronger than that.
I definitely have that mindset of making excuses for eating unhealthy or eating whatever I want. I can’t wait for this diet to break me of that.
