Velocity Diet: "Family Man Edition" Review and Notes So Far

I call this “demand meets supply”, haha. How much time do I have? That’s how much I’ll take! And then we wonder why we don’t have any time.

Gonna also use this to share a little more HSM food porn, because I made lamb for the first time yesterday and it was so amazing I’m STILL thinking about it and I’m excited to have the leftovers tonight for dinner

Served alongside some chicken tenderloin and egg whites.

Once again, knowing that I’ve got all my bases covered with the Velocity Diet, Flameout and Superfood means being able to eat like an absolute king when I eat. I am thriving.

@Lonnie123 answering your question even more directly this way: I had my Indigo-3G 30 minutes before this meal.

Interesting , the old wisdom used to be to eat it before a carb heavy meal, has that changed ?

Hasn’t changed at all: that is my highest carb meal, haha.

I owe it to @anna_5588 's expert instruction, and so simple a meathead could do it.

I ended up doing 390 on the air fryer for around 11 minutes, flip at the halfway point.

Seasoned it with this stuff, because it was lamb and it seemed appropriate

I used the Costco rack of lamb and cut it into chops

I seriously want to buy it ALL up, haha.

But instead, they were doing 99 cent a pound wings at my grocery store, so I’m in the middle of that. Photos to come, but here was the start

Hell yeah man! Costco for the win again. That seasoning I get from Amazon, but Costco has great seasonings too.

How do you do that without blowing the fuse? That happens whenever I try to do that. It would really save time.

It always blows mine too. I have to take one all the way to the breakfast table so it’s on another breaker.

I’m such a Ninja brand fanboy. They have a wood pellet grill for outdoors now, that honestly looks small and stupid, and I still might pull the trigger.

@TrainForPain I’ll be sure to do so. I’ve been youtubing how to use it. I think my biggest issue is going to be patience. The time it takes to properly smoke something is time I could grill up SO much stuff. I’ll have to make it worth my while sometime.

It’s true, but there’s something really primal about smoked meats. I think this is where the wood pellet grill will shine anyway though. I have one of the ceramic smokers, and everything tastes awesome… but everything is also a full day’s project.

Bit more family man stuff here. Prior to this switch, I was such a martyr when going out to eat. Steamed chicken and broccoli kinda stuff.

My kid wanted to go to a pizza buffet to celebrate a big W today.

This was trip 1 for me

Trip 2 was dessert: 3 slices of dessert pizza and a brownie

And I know I will be fine (actually gonna do a specific write up on that). I get to eat like a person at a buffet because every other meal is quality. I get to enjoy this W with my kiddo. How fantastic

Can you clarify. Are you adding all the powdered items all at once into your one Metabolic Drive shake?

Yes. I outlined that somewhere here in the Community in a full list. Sometimes it’s a shake and sometimes it’s a bowl of berries + MD + several powdered supps. It may not be perfect in terms of timing, but it allows me to never miss a dose/serving of anything.
