I’m gonna be starting Keto diet next month. I know the basics and all that jazz. I was wondering what vegetables would be recommended to eat during the diet, which would be OK, and which to completely avoid? Besides the kinds the recommended quantities?
I like spinach and other leafy greens.
I was just wondering if anybody had any better knowledge or further recommendations for me

I mean is there a limit. Can I eat broccolli with all my meals? Or eat a half pound of spinach daily to fill me up?
I know green beans more high carb, but any specific restrictions[/quote]
None really…but you may want to keep a check on the following:
Onions [5 net i think per half]
Tomatoes [5 net per tomato]
Carrots [7 net per large one]
Beets [not sure…but they are higher sugar]
Other than that…i would suggest that you vary your veggies and take all of them on different days. Always keeping your total in check ofcourse. for eg: you can go low cho all day and then have a salad with onions and tomatoes and carrots. or pick one a day kind deal.
Pretty much what has been said, with broccoli, celery, cucumber, and lettuce being the main ones.
As jlats said, you burn almost the number of calories digesting broccoli as the number of calories in broccoli (30 cals in broccoli, 24 cals burned during digestion), and I remember CT saying that eating celery actually has a negative caloric effect on your body (meaning that you burn more calories digesting celery than the number of calories in celery itself).
I would also recommend Superfood from Biotest, you get 18 fruits and vegetables per serving, and is ok to use with a keto diet.
