V-Diet Log, Second Time Around

Higgy baby!

Congrats on completing the V-Diet, job well done. Look forward to the pics. Good luck with the new running program.

This is for you:

Waist (Hip area, between belly button and chest) 31.5" stayed same
Waist (Around belly button) 33 3/4" to 33"
Chest 37" to 37 1/2"
Arms 13 3/4" stayed the same
Forearms 11 1/2" stayed the same
Thighs 22 1/2" stayed same
Calves 16" to 15 1/2"
Neck 15 stayed the same

I’ll load pics up later

Great job man. I’m hoping to have some progress similar to yours.

Also forgot the weight, 170.2. So close haha, Windows Vista is deceding to not agree with me loading photos for some reason right now, I’ll try to figure this out tonight.

Also running is a lot easier when you weigh less I’ve found out today.

Did 2.5 miles of morning cardio and felt great, first time I’ve ran 2.5 miles in a longgggggg time. I think I should be up to running 5ks daily soon which will be nice, always wanted to run in the random charity 5ks.

Well I sorta forgot about this thread and didn’t post the pictures but I’m back on the v-diet train, third times the charm right or something like that? I get sick of not being able lose weight quick enough and always revert back to this sucker it seems.

Goals for this V-Diet are
160 lbs and 12% BF through 4 weeks, and 160 lbs and 11% BF through the 2 week transition. Thanks to Biotest for the sale a few weeks ago for making this possible. I’m always going to try to be a bit more involved with this one this time around as I should be some dramatic visual change instead of going through the “Grind” as Shugs puts it.

Stats

176.5 lbs, 16.4% BF. I’ve gained a bit of strength since the last V-Diet and believe I’ve put on a couple of pounds of muscle, couple pounds of fat or maybe not, I’ll let the pictures and measurements do the talking. I’ve been eating mostly clean with a few random cheat meals throughout the month.

I’m gonna change up where I measure a little bit now as the biggest part of my belly is no longer around my belly button but rather around the bottom part. I’m at the store I own right now doing some tax work so I’ll get pictures up today and some measurements up tonight or tomorrow morning.

I forgot my flax seeds up at Columbus (I’m back on spring break) so I was going to run to GNC to pick some up. Normally I have to go to the mall to do this which is about 15 minutes away but apparently they opened up a GNC inside of a Rite-Aid a minute away from my house, weird huh? It is by far the greatest GNC of all time as there are no sales clerks for GNC, just the rite-aid workers who don’t care if you buy anything or not. I went and got my flax seeds on the grand opening sale they had and I’m off.

I’m also considering not weighing myself until the end of it for a little surprise factor. (This time around, I’ll actually have weekly pictures and let that do the talking)

From 40% to 16.5% to who knows what, lets fing do this.

  1. With out pictures I am tempted to advise you to focus on good solid food and eating habits, i read your thread and waht not, and you did and have made AWESOME progress. I just think it might be time to focus on good healthy eating for a few months, add appreciable muscle, then come back to the diet. Thats just my $.02

2)RITE AID GNC = THE DEVIL. At least the local one by me. They SCREWED me, non of the clerks let alone the manager had any idea about the gold card or the discount they give the first week of the month etc, I had to correct the MANAGER on how it works, they lost my business for good.

  1. do it to it! keep fighting the good fight!

Hmm that’s odd, they asked the gold card and added the discount right on, with the grand opening sale they have going on it’s actually pretty cheap for some of the stuff. Too bad they only had one bag of flax.

I have an obsession with getting lean and am going to do this to get down to around 12% and this is way I can do it easiest I believe. I don’t mind being on the diet and it has had no ill effect on my metabolism from the 2 times I’ve been off of it.

Here’s some pics, they’re not the greatest quality, i’ll see what I can do when I get out of this damn store (Taxes are a bitch)

As far as yesterday goes, it went very well. The normal day 1 experience I guess. I was a bit hungry, but not too bad. Got all the shakes, flax, and supps in.

Today is legs day for the workout.

hey man, good progress. Any plans for the post v-diet period nutrition?

if I posted what I did for diet on my v-diet variation, everyone here would think I’m a lunatic HAH

keep it up

Higgy baby!!! Good to see you back, good luck again with the V-Diet, you’re gonna tear it up…again.

Sorry for lack of updates, Serious family medical issue came up and threw everything off. It’s when things like this happen that I can truly appreciate my decision to change my health for the future.

Diet did get thrown off though in the whirlwind so I’m just going to start over tomorrow officially. I’m not sure why the pictures didn’t all come up but who knows. I’ll update again when I get a chance but I’ve got all my supps with me now so regardless I’ll be able to stay on the diet.

Afterwards I’m gonna go on a plan similar to Gus’s nutrition plan of 1400 calories on non lifting days 1700 on non lifting days until I get down to where I want to as far as looking in the mirror.

Today was interesting for reasons other than protein shakes, well sorta. My car stereo stopped working yesterday so I took the time to go get a new one at best buy in which I was carrying a protein shake with me at the time. The guy asked what kind of protein I used and I had a chance to tell him about the wonders of Biotest. He seemed to like the idea of casein whey blend etc and I might of actually sold a couple of containers for the site (Do I get commission?)

Everything’s back to normal around here which is good. Worked out past 2 days so today was day off from that.

Great so far, gl on the next go around on the V-Diet, much easier than the first.

Ah easter, time of candy. Mom gave me a bunch of candy and snacks because I was looking too thin and needed them. These promptly got thrown away. Why do we celebrate a religious holiday with candy and feasts? This baffled me throughout the day. The time I celebrate with food is when I just got done with a wicked workout and want to build some muscle. /endrant

All the gyms are closed today =/ I need to get a workout in but have to wait till tommorrow when school starts back up. I actually am going to enjoy the start of this quarter as the questions of what are you drinking leads to why are you doing this diet etc and seems like the ladies like the willpower and dedicated to get in shape =]
