I have 6 days left with access to my home gym. After that, I’m flying out of state for 10 days to scope out a place to live, buy new cars, etc. then flying back to pack up stuff and move cross country. I’ve got 48 pre-packaged protein shakes arriving today and plan to eat one meal a day until end of May. Protein shakes are for when hungry.
Maybe a bit less lower ab fat since last week. Shoulders and arms felt leaner this week, but that could also be due to a bit of a higher carb day yesterday.
I am going to give it hell. No excuses but this week was brutal for the diet. Anniversary, Easter, and my birthday all set me back this week but I plan on finishing strong.
Go get it everyone!
Rather crappy few weeks! Lost power in my house for a few days, lots of overtime at work. Haven’t lost weight for those weeks but haven’t gained either. On the plus side strength seems to have gone up a bit. Had to drop weight on deadlifts after I tweaked my back. Taken a while to get back up but just lifted the weight I hurt my back on and it felt pretty easy so every cloud
Quick update from beginning of diet in early March to now 7 weeks out from my first classic physique show
Lighting is different but change is happening
solid progress. well done.
Thank you man. Much appreciated!
Looking great mate, just need a tan
Not sure my body will look that different this year but managed to transform myself into a 50 year old powerlfiter ![]()
Strong showing Simo!
Definitely seeing progress there! Great job!

And thank you @shaneinga ! Down about 16 pounds from photo 1
I’m thinking of competing in a Hyrox race. We started Hyrox classes at my CF gym. I think I’d be pretty good at it, because it amplifies the things I’m reasonable at (low skill work, conditioning, strength endurance) and doesn’t have the parts of CF I suck it (OLY lifts, gymnastics). There’s a race in Anaheim in December I have my eyes on.
8 rounds, each starts with a 1 km run then a movement:
congrats
Thank you!
Nice lifting. Quality
Friend of mine did one of these recently, it looks brutal. Be good to see how you go.
Thanks Simo!
