Feels like a cry for help - or an honorable way to address a loss

Lmao I was just thinking it would be a last ditch attempt to lose another kilo

Here I was innocently thinking it was about trimming bodyhair to better expose the physique…

Oh, crap. We are way too close to May 26th. I took a new approach this year. Lose 7 pounds in the first month, hang out there for a while, gain 10 lbs in April, and now I’m trying to lose it again.

I don’t think I realized we finish on the 26th, although I have company coming on the 29th, so am planning what I will euphemistically refer to as a deload for that weekend anyway, and had planned to grab my pics Memorial Day weekend. Still, that’s 11 days away!

I’m going to really push to lose another .35 lbs between now and then.

Official deadlift max test today.

Wanted 325, wouldn’t budge off the floor. I hit 315 as my last heavy single on Monday, which is a 7lb PR in 2 years
Really disappointing

Hypertrophy phase next, hopefully I’ll be able to build some strength

I want to hit a 3.5x body weight deadlift at some point

How far off is that currently? 315 is a seriously good lift, from memory that’s already a 3x be deadlift, which puts you ahead of 99% of the population by weight to bw ratio, but I reckon 315 is more than 99% of the population, male or female particularly of the modern western world.

Don’t lose sight of the fact that you are incredibly strong, full stop, not “strong for a lightweight female lifter”, just full stop strong.

It’s a bit less than 50lbs off from 3.5xcurrent body weight (103lbs)

315 is just a touch over 3x. I was lifting 120kg at 40kg with terrible programming and running on the cross country team so I haven’t really made that much “real” progress.

You’ve gained 6kg, but are lifting 23kg more, I’d be happy with that.
