Totally agree. I’m really impressed with just the progress photos, and I know there’s sleepers out there that are going to drop big reveals too. We’ve also got some new(ish) names really showing up to play. This is an exciting year!

I’ve drifted a bit due to life stuff, but am planning to really hunker down. I was just counting the weeks left last night. I’m doing some reconfiguring of my workouts to try to drop some flab, and messing with my diet. We’ll see - worst case I remain as I am, which is not terrible.

Of course. I prepared myself for a stellar week by spending most of the day outside near my fire pit. The weather was gorgeous, so we ate dinner out there, too. I consumed four hot links (three wrapped in cheese and a tortilla, one with cheese in a bun) and about 15 light beers. Nothing says final push like gluttony.

I agree! And to that end I went out to eat last night after a very short hike - drank a white claw at the gorge we went to - and ate 3/4 of a wood oven pizza, probably medium-sized, and had three glasses of wine.

I’m a few lbs lighter than the start of the year, definitely in much better cardiovascular shape and think i’ve got a fair bit leaner. Going to use some CT Fletcher motivation to try and shed some weight, hoping to be in the upper/to mid 250s currently floating around 269-273.

Kind of a tale of two transformations over the last couple posts here - I like it.

In the airport yesterday I saw a new mom break out her resistance bands and do a whole workout with her baby while waiting on her flight. I drank a beer and fell asleep in the chair, so we were both champions.

With having been sick, and my grandfather passing away and the moving thing coming up as well, the last few weeks haven’t been the greatest. I have trained a bit but for obvious reasons it was kinda on the back burner. Now I’m feeling back to normal, I’ve been to the funeral, and even though my move hasn’t happened yet there’s been some progression that way and I’m getting myself back into the groove of things. So this final push will hopefully go real good! Sunday I’m gonna do a day pass into the new gym in town for legs…they very much cater to bodybuilding so I’m expecting a bit of a crazy workout haha

How tall are you???

I thought I was tall at 6’5", but I don’t see how you’re packing 270 lbs without being more stretched out than me. I’m a bit fatter than you and hanging around 230.

There’s definitely more fat there than that photo lets on, i’d guess you’re actually leaner but I also carry a lot of weight in my legs (just big leg genetics), so that could be making up some of the ground

Started TRT about 7-8 months ago too, on a relatively low dose but I think i’ve got 6-10lbs of muscle out of it.

That’s a good place to hide it! I definitely don’t have that quad sweep that you do. Maybe I’m genetically built to have smaller quads or maybe I’ve just selected training that focused more on the back side of my body.

Whether you’re trying to go up or down in mass, you’re in a great place.

This cut has been so fantastic, I can’t believe I still have 7 weeks to work! Training has been so fun. I really have renewed enthusiasm and intensity!

I’ve been fortunate. My hunger level adapted to my calorie intake pretty quick so I pretty much never feel hungry
