We’re having nachos, which I’ll eat some of, but we’re also doing chicken drumsticks, brie, guac, and steamed shrimp, so I’m hoping to get enough protein in that I can handle myself with the naughtier stuff.
Too, I’m getting ready to work out and we have fresh snow, so I’ll be snowshoeing today. So plenty of calories burnt beforehand.
I’m leaving my job to return to private practice, which is a massive administrative undertaking, so I haven’t had time to post much, but I’m loving my workouts and maintaining my weight. The goal was to cut hard at the beginning of the challenge, but that’s had to make way for some big feelings and sleeplessness and such, so I’ve switched to just staying on track with my eating and workouts. Once work stuff stabilizes I’ll go back to the cut.
Doing some smoked/air fried wings for myself, and a whole spread of air fried junk food the fam. Looking at corndogs, pizza rolls, mozzarella sticks, and probably some other stuff I’ve overlooked.
I’m also planning on doing a carry medley beforehand, so somehow kegs will also be involved in my Superbowl.
The Valkyrie is starting up a new job on Monday as well, so we’re in a similar season of change here. Which, in turn, I couldn’t ask for better company.
Pretty decent. With all the added calories, I’m hitting some new PR’s in events that I haven’t touched in months. I hit a 600lb slow yoke walk for 35ft (best was a slow 550 for 50ft) and a 250lb husaffel carry for 2 sets of 25ft. I haven’t touched husaffel in over a year and yoke in 6 months
Physique wise, I’m looking denser but not necessarily fatter so that’s always cool
No progress here whatsoever.
Not moving backward (i think) but not moving forward.
TBH doing so many things in my life that only deeply ingrained habits are keeping me on track. No room for motivation or a “sprint” if that makes sense.
And that means the status quo will maintain but not improve.
