(Un)Official 2024 T-ransformation Challenge

@LoRez
I see big changes, including some arm size and a biceps vein. Great work!

Was aiming for 230 body weight but have fluctuated from 236-239 this week down from 254 in January

Starting pics from January

From this morning

Nice work. Keep it rolling!!

Unfortunately I didn’t get any arm pics or anything but here’s my before and after.

Weighed in at 193lbs this morning as well

Nice man!! Def tightened up!

So much amazing work in here! I always love seeing everyone’s progress in just a few months.

I also didn’t end up quite where I wanted, still have some jigglies to lose. I do see progress however, so I know what I am doing is working and I need to stick with it!
Started the year at 159.6, and was 147 on Tuesday. Lowest I have seen on the scale in a long time. In my head, the 130s are where I think my lean goal will be, but we will see!
Before on the left, yesterday on the right.

Thanks dude!

Great job!!! Def on the right track!!

Everyone is crushing it! Even the “I didn’t hit my goals” gang is showing visible improvement.

Does anyone else wish we could keep this gathering place? Not as a contest, but just as nice place to crow about progress, bemoan setbacks, and ask questions. Logs do that, but it’s nice to have the people pursuing active recomp goals in one place.

Like a bridge between this year’s t-transformation challenge and next year’s.

I like this idea! Sometimes I do something that, at least in my own little world, is something I’d like to share beyond my Training Log. It’s not worthy of starting its own thread, but I’m glad to be able to post it so somewhere like this. For example, I have a Spartan Race this weekend. Things like events, milestones, small victories, etc…. Great idea!

Y’all are freaking ROCK STARS!! Be super proud of all the hard work you’ve been doing - it most certainly shows! You guys are lookin’ great! Mad props, high-fives, fist-bumps all around!

Pic coming today - thanks for the reminder!

Just posting to see the challenge through. Didn’t do much transforming, weight is a few lbs down but not as low as desired, but have found some desire to lift again doing DC style lifts. Last 2 years I’ve done at least a 6 week block of something I’ve taken from @T3hPwnisher, last year DW, this year DC, next year D?

Seriously though, lot of really solid sources of inspiration and knowledge on here. Appreciate y’all

You all are making the voting tough!

No reason not to!

Got really weird, really quick…

Then you’ve succeeded! Nice work!

Man, I didn’t even see that.

Yikes, I was hoping people would interpret “?” as a placeholder for another letter but alas, the internet.

Before photos: 92kg

After photos: 83kg

Could have easily gotten away with using my BEFORE shots as AFTER shots for all the difference. Injured my knee (again) in April and my shoulder (again) in May. Did manage to forge some better habits, breaking the spell of stress eating that has plagued me ever since we moved back to Arizona last summer.

BEFORE

AFTER

I’m 148.8 lbs in the AFTER photo, which is the good part. I still feel like my anterior and posterior photos look like two different people and my goal for the rest of the year - in addition to working another five pounds off my frame - is to make the front side look more like the back side.

The numbers:
153.4 lbs → 148.8 lbs
34" waist → 33 1/2" waist

Other major changes going into the second half of the year include prioritizing “conditioning” over “strength” for the first time, and possibly retiring from jiu-jitsu due to accumulated injuries.

OK, after moving to another country and trying to survive everything, the progress wasn’t what I hoped for, but still, I managed to do a little recomp…

Current BW 85kg (187lbs).

Squat 120kg 5x5
Benchpress 80kg 5x5
Deadlift 125kg 5x5 (yeah, almost not training this one in the chaos…)
Barbell row 70kg 5x5
Overhead press 55kg 5x5

And my current photos here:

Well, the definition in my upper body definitely somewhat improved, together with my strength. Altogether, not great (faaar from that), but not terrible, I guess

NIce! Gettin tighter! Keep it up!
