Weight is up from 233 to 237. First time since this challenge began I haven’t lost weight. I’m in middle of moving so can’t get photos. These are from middle of April. Progress stalled a bit in may. Slightly leaner now with more veins in arms. Happy with progress and strength improvements on all lifts. I have a dexa scheduled for next month. I’m stoked to see results as I’m 20lbs heavier and much leaner than last July when I had it done last.
My bodyweight only increased 4 lbs over the course of the challenge, so I wasn’t expecting any visible changes in my pictures (aside from extra body hair ), but my strength definitely increased, I was consistent with lifting the entire time. All in all, a great experience.
Definitely did not finish where I wanted to but… the ugly pics are the ones that make you want to do better.
Cut up from chicken wire and hardware cloth, mosquito bitten and fire ant stung, but I am here still here, and the roll of fat on my back is not. Don’t have scale to see if I hit the goal of 125lbs until Monday we will see. So…
I’m not exactly sure how much I weigh right now, since I’ve been messing with my glycogen stores. But I am up a couple pounds, and leaner.
Lifting-wise, I barely increased my overhead press, but increased my 18" deadlift from 340x1 to 400x5. And my hand-to-hand kettlebell swings from 65x10 to 90x12.
Mostly though, I learned a lot. That was my main gain from all of this.
