Way to get it done!

You should feel extremely proud of your effort, consistency and results. Many people try to do this for years and just spin their wheels. Look what you have done with just 5 months of intention. And you have done this without having to live like a monk. There is nothing more to say accept, Quality.

Ok folks, I think I’m more or less caught up - if I “liked” your post, that means I got your After pic.

Some awesome stuff going on! First, every single “MVP” nomination is on my list too; you all are awesome.

@LoRez I appreciate your comment about community. That’s what I’ve loved about this site for the last 15 years and I’m really happy to see everyone keep building it; it’s just amazing.

@anna_5588 congrats on the PR and happy birthday!

@bigmac615 great work; seriously inspiring.

@davemccright I hate you.

@EmilyQ you look great and I’ve loved seeing the mental game that’s gone with it. You went from “I don’t know if I can start” to “I’m killing this every day”.

@taylortooswift get those pics up, man. I’m not a psychopath about this, we’ve followed your journey, and we want to see that great transformation!

@TrainForPain

From 170lbs to 165.5lbs. Happy enough with the results for not making any dietary changes and having no real plan or direction. Strength has come along for all lifts but legs may have shrunk some, looks like they respond well to higher rep squats instead

Started doing direct arm work again a couple months back and I think I might have the tiniest stretch mark in my right bicep which is kinda neat to see when losing weight and already having 10 years of lifting under my belt

I am throwing in the towel on dietary efforts and trying to settle in on my new weight with a maintenance diet for a few months here. Not ripped, not sure I would be, but lost about 24 pounds and about 5 inches of visceral fat around my belly. I also abstained from alcohol the entire 5 months, just to prove I didn’t “need it”.

@TrainForPain stole my “wow!” Which is exactly what I was thinking, looking at the pics. Good work! (Wow!)

That’s my plan, though I may only go weeks. Hard to say. I want to keep progressing, but I need to take a breather.

Wow! Nice work @trimtabber79 ! Huge transformation.

Update: Did the Murph this morning at my CF gym. Broke my goal of 40 min!

Murph, 8 am.

Wearing a 20# vest:
Run 1.06 miles (the route mapped out for us)
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
Run 1.06 miles
Time = 38:58

Will post pics in the next few days. (Spoiler alert: I look exactly the same)

I’ll try to get some full body pics but out of town for the next few days. Grabbed these after a chest day last week

Didn’t weigh in for this but I will tomorrow morning for my own records. I’m satisfied with the way the past 6 months have turned out lifting-wise, especially relative to the 6 months prior to that.

No new pics since Greece unfortunately. I’ll post what I have though!

Starting weight: 295

Not a lot going on in the pose department haha

Fantastic- on both completing it and the goal time! Any individual that can actually complete this has my complete respect. And with the 20# vest… Not to be disrespectful to the man they named it for… but I always thought they could call it the Puke.

Thank you. I’m not quite at your level yet, man.
