(Un)Official 2023 T-ransformation Challenge

I’m still plugging along. Developed golfer’s elbow which is still not completely gone, gave a Velocity-inspired diet a go, and otherwise have been my consistent self. I’ll probably throw up pics on the final day because I don’t necessarily have a reason to wrap anything up early.

Great seeing on the work on and interactions on this thread. Good luck to everyone on the home stretch.

I posted this in my log, but figured I’d share here in spirit of the competition. Ya’ll inspired me, even if I wasn’t officially participating this year, and hopefully this will provide a road map for others as well. My before photo here is at the end of my second run of Super Squats (third in my life, but second in terms of, did 1 6 week run, took 6 weeks off, came back for another) and the after is at the final week of Jamie Lewis’ “Feast” protocol

So whoever wins themselves a copy of Super Squats, you have a roadmap. Super Squats, then FFF, with Velocity Diet along the way!

Its been an interesting run for me.
Met my simple scale-weight goal, then bounced a couple pounds above it and will try to bounce back down to it; and signing up for an obstacle course race 10k gave me something to focus on.

However, im not thrilled with how i look, and preferred feeling strong to feeling light, i think. And i am craving strength training instead of the cardio/lightweight conditioning ive been doing.

However life is in flux at the moment, so i can’t say i plan to jump back into 531 (or anything else) right after the race.

Will post pictures looking a little smaller, but not much fitter, than before; and reassess the future plan once i have more clarity.

@QuadQueen
Ive been eating 2 servings of these frozen veggies most days. One mixed with my scrambled eggs and one with my ground beefurkey.
Is it doing me any good? Would you recommend anything different? Im not a vegetable guy and this is an easy way to tick a box, but i wonder if its a waste of time.

ALL veggies are good veggies! So, in short, yes it’s doing some good. You’re getting some extra fiber, vitamins and minerals.

My only suggestion would be to maybe look for an option without the corn, lima beans and peas, these are starchy veggies, so more carbs and less overall nutritional punch. Some things you could try if you’re averse to straight up broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, etc. a few other options would be: a red and green pepper/onion mix, cauliflower or broccoli rice (these would mix into things super easily), zucchini/yellow squash mix, or a stir-fry blend.

If all of those are no-go’s for you - stick with what you’re doing! I’d rather see you do that than have no veggies at all!

Sitting at about 81kg. Probably a little less body-fat than the start. Two and a bit months on vegetarian diet W reduced sodium and protein. No gains lost. Performance goals on track.

Goal was never to lose weight, but just a byproduct of a focused diet I guess

Officially done. Started at 288.4 according to my log, ran deep water, did some Kb swings, ran some strength stuff. Ended at 260. Really happy with this pass, need to keep consistent for the rest of the year and will be dangerous this time next year.

Shots from the last week or so

@heretolog Loved watching you transform through this process, in so many ways. Deep Water will always change you.

@kleinhound What a fantastic experiment you conducted there. It goes to show how “compliance is the science”. You can get all sorts of awesome results as long as the effort is there.

Was pretty shocked to see this this morning

Over 20lbs lost, with ZERO intention of doing so. Velocity Diet is magic, and combining it with carnivore has been insane.
