(Un)Official 2023 T-ransformation Challenge

Awesome!! Besides that just looking like a wild amount of food, it looks very good! I’d wear that shirt with pride bro.

Clearly that’s where I’m screwing up. I’m simply not putting down enough giant bacon cheeseburgers

@boilerman Thanks man! Minus the big plate of onions at the end it was fantastic. And my kid is so over the moon about me crushing this, which is the real win.

@TrainForPain I keep saying “it’s not science: it’s alchemy”, haha. I plan to do a for real write-up detailing the 5 hours of training and all day fasting strategy for this.

@ChickenLittle thank you!

Only 3 weeks to go. What is everyone doing foe that last push to the finish.

I’m just gonna keep eating and start growing again. My finish line was 4/8.

Did I grab your afters? Can you tag me if you didn’t so I save them?

I think my plan is to just keep moving. Shoulder injury is getting to my head while lifting. Also just dropped all my training maxes after talking to Jim Wendler so training kind of sucks currently. With exams and stuff, lifting seems pointless but I’m not stopping because only way out is through.

I was reading an old post and saw @Andrewgen_Receptors say it. Definitely stuck with me

Dropping the cheat meals that are tanking my last-minute progress, gut to the grindstone or whatever the saying is.

I have a whole rant about how this mentality is extremely beneficial for almost every aspect in life. Perhaps a thread for another day, but it extends far beyond training and nutrition.

Thanks for the nod.

Hopefully next year i’ll be starting closer to 220lbs with less body fat. Guess we’ll have to wait a few months to find out.

Been a wild three weeks. My wife went in bed rest again, delivered baby via emergency (doing great now) and had to take care of three kids and make multiple trips to hospital for wife throughout each day. Everyone is home and doing well. Trying to get back to it. Fortunately, I woke up only 1lb above my low this morning, despite no real training and shitty (not eat) eating. Might have lost a bit?

Any ways, on leave now and getting after it. While baby was in her post meal nap, I got 200 kb swings, push-ups and KB squats in (85lb bell).

Example of food starting yesterday. Cabbage, butter, Parmesan and bacon.

Glad things seem to be getting better!

We don’t want to see cabbage. We want to see the baby!
