I’ve actually been without my TRT, creatine and other supps for over a week now. Thought about joining in my mentally deflated state :joy:

Looking to cut, no real plans to diet but I’m planning on upping the cardio quite a bit. Other than farmers I haven’t hit a PR in any major lifts since late 2018/early 2019. Frustrated spinning my wheels and can’t push as hard as I’d like with nagging injuries so seems like a good opportunity to shift priorities and reignite the fire inside.

Thanks! After not directly hitting arms for a couple years I started hitting them 3 times a week back in October. Sometimes I see the pump in the mirror and think they look a little comical. It’s a good problem to have and they’ve always been a strong point for me.

Good lord, that’s incredible.

This past summer I drank a bunch of milk and pushed my lifts like crazy. It wasn’t smart. But I went from 190 to 215 in a couple months.

Oh my god if we’re going to have a side competition where we’re simply seeing who can gain the most bodyweight during the transformation challenge I will TOTALLY come up with another amazing prize for that person. We’ll call it the “Bruce Randall Award for Excellence in Corpulence”

@loganator’s starting point is already setting him up for a copy of super squats; successed himself right out of the game.

Well keep in mind, I don’t look like my profile picture right now, lol. If I was close to my best, gaining like that would be impossible.

I expect to put on the first 7-8 lbs within 7-10 days, just from water weight and having more food sitting in my body at all times. So that will be a big chunk of the ‘gain’. Apart from that, I know my body is good at adjusting to being 200 lbs pretty quickly, given how many times I’ve dropped this much weight and gotten it back up. I’ve oscillated from the 175 weight class up to the 200 class pretty frequently in my strongman career.

Now if I could keep pushing that bodyweight up to a good 220 in the 6 months that followed, THAT would be pretty incredible.

Also incredible. I’m hoping to go from 185ish to a leaner 175–180.

I should dream bigger, I guess. :joy:

Thanks for the reply.

One of the best parts of this community is talking to people who understand the iron game inside and out.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this pans out for all of us.

Ok here’s my {pointless} submission, lOL.
My goal is to hopefully not add any fat, but add 20lbs roughly to my lifts!!

Fingers crossed for an identical after photo
Bring on the strength gainz !!

Nope - everyone that enters inspires all of us! Just having the guts to put yourself out there with a picture and a commitment to your next goal is incredible.
Bring it on!

we’re all working from different points! A solid recomp is an excellent goal, and can very often be more impressive than just putting on a bunch of weight, lol. I personally have zero fat to lose, so ‘leaning out’ just isn’t on my radar at this time. But based on your starting pictures, I could see that making a tremendous difference if done well.

I’ll also add that I’m an ‘assisted’ lifter, if you haven’t seen that in my previous posts. I always prefer to disclose that, because it makes a big difference in how I respond to training and diet. I’m currently not on anything, but that won’t be the case in the near future.
