This just ridiculous… At first I thought I was just watching a bad break dancing video but apparently you are serious that these are chest exercises.
Sorry but you lack understanding of these exercises. Planche, planche pushups, one hand pushups, plyo pushups… are all working the chest. Ya there is alot of core as well, but its mainly chest. Get the facts strait before posting cocky remarks.
Planches are not a chest exercise. Especially when done with bent arms (actually more a combo of being able to exert and maintain tension throughout the body, and balance). Plyo pushups aren’t a chest exercise either when you add that hopping/ kipping motion with your legs. Granted, it looks flashier, but it isn’t harder and you certainly aren’t making your chest bear the brunt of the work.

Either way, these are not bodybuilding methods.
Sounds like you and some others above dont know what you are talking about, or any experience with this style of exericses. So u think bodybuilding can only be done through weightlifting? These are bodweight exercises that target the chest and build muscle. Also this is bodybuilding not just conditioning… Its muscle building exercises done in sets, only its not weights being used. Once again… i will say it… the major muscle being focused on in all the exercises is the chest, and the core is worked too. Looks like alot of ignorant and unexperienced people in this forum.
You show me one professional bodybuilder doing that then. If it’s that magical, SOMEONE on the Olympia stage HAS to be utilizing it.
Yeah, but someone always posts some stupid Kettlebell thread. Does ANY Olympia contender use fucking kettlebells?

Give the kid a break, Akuma. It’s pretty cool that he’s busting his ass working out, albeit not strictly BBing exercises.
That’s the point. This is a bodybuilding forum. Why not keep it on topic.

Yes, Parkour can look cool. That doesn’t mean we should be discussing the most effective ways to leap off a building for pec growth.

This is nothing about parkour or building jumping… And the title said ultimate chest exercises with BODYWEIGHT !!! And it seems everyone who wants to talk crap about this isnt even in good condition. Having some big bulked up muscle with no tone or seperation, and excessive bf%.

You should be looking in the mirror Akuma before trying to talk to me, your pics and conditioning are a joke. You have a long ways to go and alot to learn, and alot more supplements to buy.

um… the “chest” is not a muscle. Your tone is arrogant and trollish from the start of this thread.

You do understand that guys like Prof. X would play nice or at the very least drop some positive feedback if you did indeed share some breakthrough techniques/ideas in bodybuilding right? It looks like your definition of bodybuilding is a little different from the accepted definition in this community.

I would take Akumas input regarding bodybuilding over yours any day of the week. However if I decided NOT to bodybuild but increase my repertoire of bodyweight, fancy-looking exercises, then I would call upon you.

Since this is a bodybuilding forum, I would say that Akuma ‘wins’ this round, even if he cannot leap about on the floor in quite the same fashion you can.

BTW, I echo what ID said; Kudos to you for promoting conditioning on youtube and giving enough of a shit to maintain a channel there. However don’t think that just because you can hop about like a frog on speed, that you are any better than anyone else here.

Thats pretty sad, maybe you should look at your buddy Akumas pictures and the one of his back. Someone that has a back that looks like a pair of ass cheeks should just keep his mouth shut. Everyone wants to come at me for posting in bodybuilding, when these are exercises that can be implemented into chest training. Since when are one arm pushup variations and plyo pushups for show. The vids show the use of plyometrics, and isometrics, and calisthenics on just bodyweight movements.

they ARE for show because nobody has EVER built a bodybuilder chest doing pushups or any of the fairyish variations you have a hardon over. seriously… ur a tool.

Responses like this ^ are making me doubt you are the same guy in the vids. You keep saying the same thing over and over, but never go into detail about why exactly these things are the “ultimate” in bodyweight training. I’d think that the guy in the vids would at least know why he is doing those exercises specifically; you however can’t seem to discuss your methods beyond ‘they focus on chest’ and explaining what they are called, when you’ve already done so two or three times already.

And stop ragging on bodybuilders. Check out any serious (read: “knowledgable”) gymnastics forum and they will concede that the best and quickest way to gain muscle is to gasp following traditional bodybuilding methods and adopt a suitable diet.

Coach Sommer (who has published articles on this site) said on his own site that his son’s gymnastic ability improved considerably after he gained 15 lbs of muscle through his football lifting program (his son had taken an extended lay-off from gymnastics to concentrate on football). Yes, his performance improved.

So cut the elitist shit about lifting producing muscle-bound sloths who move like Romero zombies. Simply. Not. True.

These would be impressive if the guy weighted over 150 lbs. Oh wait, im totally fucking kidding.

Maybe we should have an eminem bboy wannabe t cell!

^lol perfect

Pop Quiz for the OP:

 1. How old are you?
 2. What is your first name?
 3. What is your line of work?

I know the answers. If you’re actually the author of the vids, you’ll know them too.

My 2 penneth:

This is a really impressive video. I wouldlove to be able to do that pressup with legs up in the air behind me thing: I would totally do that one when drunk, for jokes, or as a party trick. For bodybuilding? Erm no

It seems to be a display of glute/stomach endurance and some gymnasticy stuff. It IS IMPRESSIVE but it is mos definitely NOT CHEST/BODYBUILDING. That’s not bad thing.

I had some oats today, they were good, but you can’t call them ‘bacon’
