The pride boys just don’t seem to take it seriously when they go over to the ufc. Liddel should have destroyed jardine. He was scared, scared that his chin wsan’t what he thought it was. If liddel had attacked in fluries he would have annihalated jardine.
The pride boys of course also have to deal with the rule changes. Incidently, I’d like to see the pride rules brouht in to the ufc…ie kicking a downed opponent (stomps)

OMC, I’m definitely not a betting man and even if I were, this would be the last sport I’d put money on. Hardly any fight these days is easy to predict correctly.
Of course, I could just go with the opposite of what I think should happen and I’d be pretty rich.
I really thought Jardine had no shot against Liddell. Boy was I wrong. I did think Griffin had a chance against Shogun, considering the trend of PRIDE to UFC moves that haven’t gone well for other fighters, but I thought Shogun would be able to overcome that with his talent.

I still think Wanderlei is the cream of the crop in the 205 division. He’s seen Cro Cop and Rua in convincing losses that most thought they would win. He should be taking this very seriously. Although I would have loved to see him v Liddell, Jardine would be opponent.
In regards to the comment that many people make that Pride Fighters are struggling in the UFC, Rampage is a Pride fighter and he’s doing okay. I think he has taken it very seriously.

I think Liddell just didn’t adapt to Jardine. I also thought that Liddell looked fine, like he always does.
remember though that silva DESTROYED rampage. Eventually they will meet again in the ufc. Can’t wait to see what happens der.
Also does anyone else think its only a matter of time till robbie lawler makes a return to the ufc?
