I know that Cro Cop is gonna win tonight. I feel sorry for Coture if he does…
My prediction: Couture trained his ass off, and will surprise everyone yet again.
His match with Silvia may have been too easy and could go to his head, so hopefully he’s been training with the right guys since that fight.
I would get off the internet now, if you don’t want spoilers, the free PPV is tape delayed. The event is starting as I type in England and the results will be everywhere by 5pm.

Cro Cop TKO 2. Don’t buy into their hype, Gonzaga isn’t all that.
Werdum Sub Rd 2. Arlovski needs to stay up, the ground is Werdum’s domain. Pe De Pano took AA down, I don’t think Werdum will have too much trouble getting him down and getting a tap.
Bisping KO Rd 1. I’ve never seen a fighter live off of one win like Elvis has from arm barring Horn.

Sinosec is a bad fighter. ufc is putting him against bisping only because the fight is in britain and the want bisping to get an easy win. ufc is trying to hype up elvis by glorifying his lucky-as-hell submission of jermey horn

I feel like crying now. Poor Crocop looked terrible and will probably retire soon, at this rate. 2007 has been so cruel for my favorite MMA heroes. I’m so afraid that Liddell is going to lose against Jackson. Just look at upsets that have happened this year.

Wow, they called it ‘the year of the upset’ and they weren’t kidding… I literally missed the big KO, I turned to a friend to say something and when I looked back Cro Cop was lying there in a heap.
I know that a lot of people are gonna be disappointed in this result, but personally I think Couture vs Gonzaga is an intriguing matchup - especially with what Gonzaga has been showing in his last few fights. Can’t wait to see that one.

I hope CroCop’s knee is not too badly damaged. That was a wicked fucking kick = CroCop was out before he hit the ground - and his knee was bent up underneath him.

I’ve gotta stop calling main events. I keep picking the exact opposite of what happens in reality.
That kick to the head was BRUTAL. I don’t know if Mirko’s own highlight real contains a knockout kick that vicious, where the head is hit so hard it just kind of whips the whole body down . . . WOW.

I wouldn’t go that far.
Most people knew that CroCop’s ground game was not very good and that’s where the majority of the first round took place. The one kick he did land made Gonzaga’s stomach look like he could have possibly had a third limb.
Disappointing none the less, but I don’t think many people would have survived that kick.
Seems to be a bit of a learning curve for the Pride folks. His training partner looked like a scared kid for the entire fight against Arlovski. He never did a damn thing the whole fight.
CroCop did not look prepared for the ground and pound - especially the elbows.
I hope these losses will wake up the Pride Fighters to the fact that the UFC is much much tougher than it was a few years ago.
