First of all, if I ever have to here Joe Rogan talking about inside leg kicks again, I’m going to mute every UFC fight I watch.
That said, I think Tito looked almost completely passive throughout this fight. He shot when Lidell had a deep stance, threw away the one shot he had Lidell on, didn’t really try to throw in any fake out Lidell with his strikes (AKA BOXING) with his strikes, and all around made himsef look like an ass by trying to strike with Lidell (I called this a couple days ago

I’m new to watching MMA, so feel free to question my logic, but correct me when I’m wrong, don’t just flame me. I want to learn as much as possible about the sport.

I agree Rogan is the most obnoxious announcer that money can buy. And it’s not just what he says but how he says it…and even the pitch of his voice. I really can’t stand that guy.

Well anderson silvas first fight is on spike right now and i just watched the into(where the guys are talking) and chris leben said that pride was easier then ufc obviously this retard never heard of fedor.

Saw this real time and rewatched a tape. Cruz makes the first move after the ref stopped the fight. He pushes off Arlovski right foot from his hip before Arlovski drops the hammer. He should have see him just waiting there with his cocked fist anyway.
There was some strange ref’ing throughout. I don’t think I’m going to forget the “Watch the spine, watch the spine” warning anytime soon. I have to watch again just to see what fight that was in. Apparently there is a new rule where spine punching is off limits.
In honor of his win. Got a chance to meet him a few weeks ago. My girl is in love with him. Nothing else to contribute.

I watched the slowmo a couple of times the fight was stopped way too early the blow in the first round were much cleaner than the ones in the 3rd.
I believe Ortiz is the better fighter but he loses because he mentally afraid of chuck I mean damn he never lost so clear in his career randy and frank shamrock were also clearly dominant but still he would still go the distance chuck is the first one the really stop him that’s got to hurt mentally?

Exactly!!!
So many people that watch UFC once or twice think they know everything about MMA. To them UFC has the best fighters in the world and when you mention Pride to them they will say “what’s that”
These are the same people who walk around wearing fighting wears like Punishment, KTFO, etc… weigh 120 lbs. soaking wet and think they can kick everybody’s ass 'cuz they watch UFC.
These are probably the same people that do curls in a wife beater with their friends and their ipod in the squat rack
