Personally I think Hughes should get a tuneup fight first. It could be a big mistake to jump right back in against GSP after taking pretty much the worst beating of his career.

The guy lost ONE fight and now you’re acting as if he needs to do a 180.
Well, I guess we can end the speculation about when Hughes will get a shot at the title, UFC announced he’ll be fighting the winner of Sera-GSP in April…that is a pretty fast turnaround for Hughes after such a beating…less confident individuals might like a tune up fight before going back in against a beast like GSP. I think if Hughes were to pull it out, he’d probably retire afterwards so he could go out on top.

I don’t doubt he will at all, win or lose. Unless someone beats GSP soon there after, he’d be pretty much locked out of another title shot.
