I’m back in the lifting game after taking a long time off because of competitions in other sports and such.
Now I’m aiming to get stronger and bigger again and I am going to use Rippetoe.
I started on monday with the A routine and did B today.
My numbers at this moment are:
Bodyweight = 165 lbs (75 kilograms)
Squat = 176 lbs (80 kilograms)
Bench = 170 lbs (77 kilograms)
Military press = 70 lbs (30 kilograms)
Power Cleans = 70 lbs (30 kilograms)
Deadlift = 90 pounds (40 kilograms)
Let me explain the crappy Deadlift, I am coming back from a bad vertebrae in my L5-S1 area and I am currently being extremely careful on using too much weight and pressure on my spine.
With the Squat I am doing fine because I got a pretty decent core, but with the deadlift I just want to be extra careful and listen to the physiotherapist’s advice.
I hope to get some strength and mass gains in the coming weeks, I’ll keep you guys posted!
