Hello all! This is my first training log, I’ve been a long time reader w/o an account, just want to have something to track my progress. 27m, I’m 5’11, 250 pounds. Maxes: 320 bench, 350 squat, 465 DL.

Legs

  1. Single leg extension
    3x20 @ 120lbs

  2. Sitting leg curl
    3x10 @ not sure, just put it on the 8th plate

  3. Barbell back squat
    2x10 @ 135/175 — 1x6 @ 225

  4. Good girl/bad girl
    3x20 @ full stack 200??

  5. Leg press/sissy squat hold
    Did it on a machine said 200lbs

  6. Hip thrust on smith (working on lifting your mother)
    135x8 — 225x8 — 315x8 — 365x8

Chest today

Smith machine incline
4x8 @ 135, 185, 225, 265

Cable chest fly (high, medium, straight across)
3x10 @ half the stack

Hammer strength chest press, it’s a weird angle don’t ask.
3x8 @ 1 plate each, 2 plate, 2 plate and quarter.

Machine chest fly
3x8 @ 1/3 stack, 1/2 stack, full stack

Machine chest press
3x8 @ 105, 170, 210

Welcome!

Hey everybody, it’s been a while. I’ve taken a break from the gym due to some lifestyle changes and I’m just trying to get the rest that I need but this week I’ve started back. My ministry schedule has also kept me away a couple funerals and a couple of weddings, but this week has been so far so good.

To be 100% transparent, I’ve started a low-dose of Semaglutide to try to lose some weight that I just can’t seem to shake off.

So far this week I’ve done two upper days and one lower day. Hate to say it, but I am weak or at least I feel that way.

One bright spot is that on Monday I hit 275 for eight!

I’ll get back on the logs more consistently now that I’ve got some things figured out.
