Two Deadlift Days?

Monday-Squat 531
Sumo Deadlift 531
Glue Ham Raise 5x10

Tuesday- Bench

Wednesday-Off

Thursday-Conventional 531
5x10 GHR
5x10 Reverse Hyper Extensions.

Does this loom like too much?

I don’t really see the benefit of training that way. What are you wanting to accomplish?

Both deadlifts are about the same. I want to seewhich one i can get stronger quicker. I just dont want to let the stronger one go.

You could train one 5/3/1 for a few cycles while using the other as assistance work and then switch them around.

IE:

5/3/1 Conventional DL
5x10 Sumo

then

5/3/1 Sumo
5x10 conventional

You can’t train everything always, some things get postponed. You can always return back to it though.

Are you posting this here, inconspicuously, so that Jim doesn’t tell you this is dumb, over in the 5/3/1 thread LOL. Don’t make us rat you out to sinsei man!!! lol

Pick a poison and roll with it for 6 weeks. The other one isn’t gonna take a shit on you. Then switch to the other style.

EDIT = don’t be so myopic. What you lift in 6 months hopefully will be better than now so don’t sweat the numbers NOW…

Yes i was strengthdawg lol

I agree. Have been pulling heavy 4-5x/week in one way or another for 2 months or so. Sometimes I do both pulling variations in one session as well - first def. conv. dl for a 2rm or so and then heavy sumo block pulls.
