You are correct, 198.5lb at 11.5% bf (where I’m at currently) is definitely not a bad weight but its not impressive either. IT’s good progress for me, and I’m proud of it, but I am humbled by the size and bf of many on this site including some naturals!
Remove your real name. It’s not a good idea to reveal that on a public forum after all the things you’ve written about your life.
who?
He’s referring to me. I really have nothing to hide, anything unsavoury is in the past anyways, and it’s not like I keep my AAS use a secret from those that ask in my life.
I appreciate you’re concern though, and i’ll remove it based on that.
6’, 200 lbs can be pretty sizeable if lean enough. In my profile picture on here, I’m about 195 at 5’11.
I wasn’t insinuating that he died from the roids, but from the addiction. Using was and is a gateway to other drugs and such for a lot of people. That’s what I was saying. It’s not smart to switch one addiction with another because eventually it will lead full circle
195 can be huge at 6 feet if your like 8% or something. You look maybe even lower than that in your pic, I just took a very quick peek though. It looks great man! I’m over 11% so I don’t look that good but I’m doing alright.
What are you talking about? I never said he was big?
Okay, that makes more sense then. In your original postings it seemed like you were dying you were doing two a days 7 days a week with everything.
Sorry if I was unclear!
Yeah that would be a little ridiculous lol, they can be implemented safely and wisely but you can’t over do it!
I thought you were like 5’8". Fuck dude, you’re bigger and leaner than I thought.
I thought you were offering examples of guys that could be ‘big at 200lbs’, not referring to the o.p. Sorry if I had that wrong, or was wrong in original vagueness.
I thought you were shorter too, I mean I was about 208, 6’, fairly lean (but not like you) and looked like at least a decade’s worth of work behind you (currently injured and shrinking). Lots of other factors though. Moot point though, I will edit the above.
No need to edit really. I’m something of an anomaly. Stage-ready, or close to it, at 6’0, 200 lbs is definitely nothing to sneeze at though. For a fair comparison, and just something to consider in general, Arnold was about 6’2, 220-230 on stage. subtracting 2 inches of height should equate to around 20 lbs, which would put an Arnold-like physique at 200-210 at 6’0. I don’t think people really consider it that way most of the time.
Oh, no I was saying all of those guys died from addictions and a lot of those said addictions started when they got on PEDs. Or at least were triggered then.
1 inch is 7-8 lb’s of lean body weight I believe, for future reference.
Most of the stuff in the media about steroids causing death and all that crap is due to PED’s + recreational drug abuse! Apparently lots of pros in the IFBB have serious drug issues, it’s a shame that brings so much bad press to steroids and to bodybuilding in general, although I am definitely not one in a position to judge!
Gotcha, sorry, had no knowledge of that. With the proportions of the heroin epidemic right now I would hazard a guess it’s significantly more widespread, and statistically more likely to end up killing you, but not knowing anything really about the other side of that you mention I won’t attempt any more generalizations.
Opioid overdoses are up like 700% in the last year in my area of the world sadly. It’s an epidemic and is even popular with teenagers and high school kids in many areas too, thankfully there are treatment centers that are absolutely amazing, full of people who care and who have been there. Sometimes all people need is an environment that promotes clean and sober living and treatment offers them that, I am really grateful for the treatment program that I went to, it worked wonders for me.
Not true. There are dozens of studies that connect AAS use to kidney and heart damage. I talked about them here. Recreational drugs aren’t part of the equation, for bodybuilders. If we’re talking pro wrestling, NFL, or other sports, for sure those play a greater role.
