Tuna Recipes

In case you guys want some Tuna recipes here’s some I found from a web site. Kind of long but thought I’d share with you guys. Have fun!

Tuna Pie
1 cup Albacore Tuna or Salmon
8 frozen tart pastry shells or
1 9" pie shell
½ Cup grated Swiss cheese
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Pepper
Paprika
Bake pastry shells at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until slightly browned. Remove from oven. Combine all other ingredients. Pour into shell. Sprinkle with Paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Albacore tuna or Salmon Asian Style Noodle Soup 14-3/4 oz. can of Dave's Albacore or Salmon 1 C. thinly sliced carrots 3 oz. package ramen-style soup 2 C. trimmed pea pods 4 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger 2 tsp. low-salt soy sauce 2 tsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. sesame oil Drain and flake albacore or salmon, set aside. Bring 5 cups water to boil in a large saucepan. Add carrots and bring to a boil. Break ramen noodles into 4 pieces and drop into water. Simmer 1-1/2 minutes. Stir in peas, onions, ginger, garlic and albacore or salmon. Simmer 1-1/2 minutes. Gently stir in remaining ingredients, including seasoning package, and serve. Makes 4 servings

Albacore Tuna and Salmon Dip 1 package soft cream cheese 1 can Dave's Albacore or Salmon, (for this recipe we recommend Dave's Smoked Salmon or Smoked Albacore) ¼ cup chopped green onion Chopped pecans (optional) Dill-pinch (optional) In bowl, mix together cream cheese, 1 can Dave's Albacore or Salmon until very smooth. Add dill, green onion, and chopped pecans. Mix. Spread on crackers or toasted bagels.

1 can (14-3/4 oz.) or 2 cans (7-1/2 oz. each) Dave's Salmon, drained 8 oz. pasta, uncooked 6 slices bacon, diced 1/2 onion, chopped 3 large cloves garlic, minced 2 tsp. basil, crushed 1/2 tsp. oregano, crushed 1/2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper 2 cans (14 oz. each) diced tomatoes 3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar 1/3 to 1/2 C. heavy cream 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, finely shredded Drain salmon and break into bite-sized pieces; set aside. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm. In 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving about 2 Tbsp. fat. Add onion, garlic, basil, oregano and peppers; cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and vinegar; cook over medium-high heat 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in Dave's canned salmon and cream; heat through. Serve over hot, cooked pasta. Garnish with cheese.
