kind of a lame episode last night…
fight was okay, as far as effort, but both guys didn’t seem to implement game plans or real strategies. and i’m kind of annoyed that Rosenthal didn’t deduct points for Kos’s guy holding onto the fence.
good to see that Wilkinson is getting the wild Card shot. i don’t really think Stevens deserves a second shot, and would rather see one of the guys that actually fought a round or 2 get another chance. whatever…

in the specialty fields like trauma, emergency, flight care…etc, and in the military the ratio of male to female is more like 50%.

Ever since I saw Josh Koscheck in the Ultimate Fighter way back when I thought something was mentally wrong with him. He Teased people and played pranks on people in an excessive way. Don’t get me wrong I’ve done my share, but there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed. I honestly feel that Koscheck needs psychiatric help. While I have no idea of what sort of childhood he had I’d bet it wasn’t at all healthy. I’d wish a beat down on him from GSP, but that won’t help him, he has real emotional problems.

i agree…he’s a typical bully. he think he’s funny (he’s not), he thinks he’s educated or smart (he’s not), and he think he’s a better fighter than he is (although i will grudgingly will admit he’s pretty good, and has done a pretty decent job of attacking his weaknesses)…

by doing that you are asking to get shot or stabbed…if the guy knows he will not be able to take you out bare handed, he might take it to the next level. that is all I’m saying, Kos better be careful where he tries that crap.

anyways based on a comment nam made in an interview I predicted the Mckenzie Phan matchup
based on the comment i predict brookins beats sako and then fights nam in the semis, idk just a hunch
i thought that was a weird fight last night. Stevens really did look good in the first round, just controlling the whole round and going for a variety fo techniques. i suspected he would gas in the 2nd after holding the triangle like that, though. i think him being caught in the guillotine was more of a side effect of fatigue, though… good job by Wilkinson for staying composed.
looks like there will be some good semi-final fights.
and i still hate Kos…blaming him and Tate for getting into it on GSP. then actiing as though he’s a brillant tactician by tricking GSP…as if he didn’t already get shown to be a moron with his fighter picks the first episode… i know some of it’s an act, but he really is the type of person i simply cannot stand.

Agreed. Plus Thiago is a pretty bad matchup for him. I’d say the guy has a chance, though just a puncher’s one.
I was surprised England didn’t make a better account of himself with TDD. His sprawl seemed slow or something. Anyway, a brookins nam fight would kick ass. As would johnson vs “Matt Hughes’ BJJ coach” (whashisname?)

Reminds me of Alex Gong, a world champion Thai Boxer who was shot and killed a few years back, after he got into a fender bender with someone and decided that just getting their license plate information and calling the cops wasn’t enough retribution and instead chased the driver down on foot (until they were forced to stop at a traffic light) and tell the driver how badly he was going to kick his ass and that he was a world champion. Had he just not let his ego get the better of him, he’d still most likely be alive today.

Kos is such an idiot. You can just tell that he is not a very bright guy and it makes me laugh. I hope GSP smashes him in their fight. That was BS for Kos to try to choke Tate when Kos is the one who started the whole trash talk fued with Tate in the first place. He just couldnt handle it being thrown back at him and got all butt hurt about it.
Oh and stevens sucks… choked out twice… that was awesome. I like Wilkinson though. I cant wait for the Bruce Leroy fight. I hope Johnson destroys him and smashes his face till its unrecognizable. (even though I doubt that will happen)
