does not being american quantify you as a racist?

I hope that’s a joke.

Nam didn’t look that great, he couldn’t finish a one handed Spencer. Spencer’s a better fighter. Kos’s button pushing wasn’t entertaining at all and did make him look like a douche this time. I wish someone would have clocked that “drunk” thai fighter, he looked like a tubby slob. And GSP’s other French or Canadian trainer needs to cut the rest of his pieces of hair off, he looks retarded.
GSP’s ‘other French or Canadian’ trainer with the toupe is actually a super genius.

Its John …
What makes you say he is a super genius?

I’ve watched every TUF and like em all and my IQ is 82, which has got to be up there near the top percentile. I wanna see Kos, or anyone, give GSP a beatdown. Reasons being, he’s not American, his accent is gay, and he fights boring and safe.
top percentile of what?
You must be in the lower percentile too.
that one went right over your head

Read some interviews of him. The guy is extremely well read. Maybe not super-genius, but I’d say he’s pretty frackin smart.
He explains his experience meeting GSP like this: him and GSP were stuck in a hotel room for about a day and struck up some conversation. Turns out GSP has an obsessive interest in Paleontology and went on for a couple of hours about dinosaurs. Danaher, being the kind of guy who didn’t like not knowing anything, went out and researched as much as he could about the subject the day after.
He’s supposed to be extremely knowledgeable on a broad range of subjects, and to be honest it shows when he’s on camera (disregarding his polished NZ accent).

yes… my other comment is a joke.

I have trained at Renzo’s in the past and Danaher is just a really interesting smart guy.
He is a BJJ guru, but it goes deeper then that. His take on grappling is very unique
he makes it a science and not in some of the way some of the more physical players make it.

Koscheck sounds like the biggest dumbass jock I have ever heard speak.
He is playing that role to make the season interesting. I like him better than the French Canadian robot.
that is the problem with the majority of north america, all flash no substance

they talk about him “A Fighter’s Mind,” too…he was a proffessor of philosophy, if i’m not mistaken…

just finsihed watching this week’s episode.

obviously i dislike Kos, but after Cody guillotine the other dude unconcious, i almost fell over laughing.

and i think that Brookin’s might be in the finals…his wrestling is insane, and he’s obviously developing the other facets to his game as well.

Yeah, I was spinning on the elliptical (I don’t have my own TV, so I go to our little “fitness center” to spin and watch sometimes) and apparently the old lady on her laptop (there’s free wi-fi in the common area) didn’t think it was so funny and left.

It’s almost sad how poorly Kos’s team is doing, and their one win is by the most decent guy (attitude wise) on Kos’s team. That speaks to me.

yeah, i know Kos is playing up the whole “heel” thing, but he seems like the same jackass he was when he was on TUF season 1.

it’ll be interesting to see how the semi-finals and wild card fights turn out…

some of it has got to be in how production is framing this season, but i mean, damn, could koscheck be as big of a douchebag as they’re making him look like? it would be hard for anyone to cheer for koscheck after this season of TUF

hmmm…i just got the latest issue of TapOut, which has Savek (from this last episode) demonstrating several judo techniques with Manny Gamburan.

Cody is a little hard to take seriously… but man. That choke of his is brutal.

lol, we have NAGA here this weekend…last year the peruvian necktie was the flavor of the day - im willing to bet a billion dollars that i see everyone trying guillotines in the no gi after cody’s success

he uses a modified version right

ya know, i noticed how wrestlers were dominating MMA for a while, and wondered how long it would take BJJ to pick back up…apparently about as quick as everyone realized the guillotine was out there, huh?

good stuff…

All I have to say is the look on Kos face after his guys got took out was absolutely priceless. It is all the more entertaining considering his team were such poor winners when they finally got their first and only victory.

McKenzitine. Damnit, after competing this weekend in Bangkok and watching that, I’m going to start working on my chokes. One of the more technical guard players in the Gi absolute threw on three chokes on me in one match, heheh.
