Hi,
I want to know when I do triceps press down, what type of bar should I use to work only the inner part (back of arms)? I am currently using straight bar and the rope. Are they enough?
Thanks!

Well, depending on your level of training, I’d suggest the straight bar or the V-shaped attachments for cable pressdowns.
Personally, I find that I can use more weight with better form with the straight bar. The V puts too much pressure on the lower part of my hands.
I know guys who swear by the rope, too. The rope appears to work my forearms in addition to the primary tricep movement.
Variety is the spice of life!
I agree with Trevor65, variety is the key for well rounded muscles. That being said, nothing hits the long head of the triceps better than skull crushers.
I recall reading that the triceps are best stimulated by heavy exercises, i.e board presses, rack lockouts etc.
Depending on how advanced you are certianly something to look into doing.
I will be trying boardpress in about 2 - 3 for my power lifting phase.
Thanks!

I think you are referring to the long head of the triceps muscle. I believe it is activated most when in a stretched position, like in an overhead triceps extension or the bottom portion of a dip.
