Training Personal Records Part 4

Might as well add in since I was testing all my maxes last week. Hit a 425 squat which is a 20 lb pr, 325 bench which is a 10 lb pr and I hit a 495 deadlift which is a 40 lb pr. Last time I tested was in August before football and wrestling so I’m pretty damn proud of these.

Did axle press out of the rack. I got 5 reps (more of a push jerk though) with 240. The cool thing is that that is my competition (in about 8 weeks) weight for clean once and press as many times as you can, so I am really aiming for at least 8-10 reps.

500 for 2 sets of 7- second set is video. This is a 2 rep PR and I have never pulled 500 for 5+ in more than one set.

Benched 290x7 on my 5+ week last night!

Hit a 185 strict overhead press yesterday. Bodyweight 153

Tough one this morning, but 350lbs squat for a 20lb PR! My spotter was one of the trainers at the gym early this morning hopefully I won’t have to ask him again :frowning:

That was awesome! She looks to weigh about 65 kg? And did 100 kg for 11 reps? Much respect!

Just out of curiosity, why did you laser pointer her backside throughout the set? Was it to gauge a form issue? Anyways, great accomplishment.

Yeah, 65kg is about right.

In regards to the laser pointer, I wish I could give you an elegant reason, but sadly that stupid green dot is simply the overhead light being reflected off the lens of my iPad as I’m filming lol.

Total MISS LOAD. Was supposed to be 455 for 8-12. But, some how we forgot to take off some weight… 100lbs to be exact. So I guess I’ll take a totally unplanned unaware walked out 555 for 3. Second rep was kinda high but, you have to take into consideration I thought I was broken since I thought this was 455.

New touch and go PR by 25 lbs. Tried 335 about 10 minutes before this, and then decided to go for broke. I had never felt more than 325 on the bar, but got it for a double before. Morning weigh in 155 lbs. VID 20140515 195640426 - YouTube


633 raw deadlift at 270lbs

700 Back Squat with Light Reverse Bands about a 110 out of the hole and completely deloaded at top. This was the heaviest thing I have ever felt. I didn’t even think I was going to be able to pick and barely could rack it if it wasn’t for Brit pulling me forward I wouldn’t have. 80 pound PR.
