585 for 1 set of 1, and 1 sets of 2. Didnt get the second set which suck because it was a bad ass looking set on camera.

What is IPF gear[/quote]
I mean single-ply suit and 2.0m wraps.
Hit 140 kg (308 lb) in a comp today at 148.7 BW.

Good job Ecch. Whats that like a 6 lb comp PR? Very motivating for us 35+. Congrats.

NASA meet? Looks like Rich Peters at the desk. Great lift!
Do you think they gave you the press command a little early?! Felt like an eternity at my last meet with them!

Yes my previous best was Feb 1st with USAPL at 137.5kg. I know I could have hit 142.5kg, but the national record with NASA is 145, so I went for broke on my third and failed on 146 kg. Oh well.

They’ll have another meet in CO in August so you can smash the record there!

Only certain events allow the record to be broken. That’s why I went big this time. I am torn, as I want to do the USAPL Bench Press Nationals in San Antonio in August, but now I might stick close to home for this one.
squat pr (+1 rep)
Ten weeks ago I was doing 365x5 at ~RPE 8.5. Since then I’ve increased the weight 10 pounds a week and today I hit 465x5 for a very difficult 5 reps. Let’s see how much this carries over to my 1 RM!
Not much of a PR since I’ve done this weight before, but since I have lost weight due to rugby, I finally got a more than 2x bodyweight squat for reps: 435 for 2 weighing in at 215.
~445 cambered bar squat. No box and deep. Fingers crossed that things keep moving in this direction.
Pushed close grip bench hard yesterday and broke a rep and single PR. 195 x 9 and 235 x 1. Pretty sure I can get 245-250 at my meet next month. Weighing around 155 now and hope to compete in 148s.
Hit 315lbs for a double for bench yesterday at 184lbs, six weeks(?) out from my next competition, May 17th, looking to hit 330lbs as my third attempt. So excited as I’m finding a nice groove with my bench form. pause work is going great too. Road to 365 at 181!
Hit 300 for a set of 5 yesterday on bench. Morning BW 154, slowly trying to gain.
hit 501lbs deadlft on friday, i shared the vid in the “race to 495 deadlift”. Not that it’s a big milestone for me, who count in kilos, but still a nice PR ![]()
hit 450x10 on deadlift a few days ago. Does anybody know how to save or post a video that’s been posted on your facebook page?
nvm
Finally hit a new bench PR with 375 paused. I did 370 paused the set before just to tie my PR as part of my workout.
615 raw sumo deadlift, 9lb PR over my best conventional raw. 2 weeks before that got 565x3 raw sumo, 25lbs over my best conventional triple raw. 2 weeks before that got 520x5 raw sumo, 10lbs over my best conventional set of 5 raw. Albeit the 615 slipped from my hands right after I locked it out (held on for about half a second), I will still count it as a gym PR because it was locked…and I wasn’t using chalk!
Current bodyweight 213.
