I finally benched 315lbs after being stuck around the 275-285 mark for literally 4 years. Body weight is around 160.

Hit a 530lbs squat last night. That’s a 15lbs PR. Body weight is about 160.

Epic grind. Think that would pass in a meet? Look like the lift stalled, at a minimum.

I don’t think it would get redlighted for downward movement of the bar, if that’s what you’re saying. Possibly for depth though.

Program called for 2 sets of 3 at 415 on bench press. Nailed the first set, missed the 2nd rep but not the third on my second set. Didn’t stay on track coming up and my spotter had to stabilize the bar for me.

Hit a surprisingly easy 3x135,0kg paused bench yesterday. Now back to my gnome cave to envy other people’s bench numbers.

335x20 squat. 20 lbs PR for 20 rep squats. Not something I’ve done much before. But I’ll be doing more in the coming weeks. Hopefully set a PR each week for a bit.

I made a little chronicle of my return to squatting after I had hip surgery last year. It was a long road. If you follow my log you know I started back up from pretty much nothing about 5 months after the surgery and I worked all the way up to a 530lbs single during my meet peak, which was a 30lbs lifetime personal best without wraps. I also hit a 523lbs squat in competition at 162. One of my goals was to hit that number at 148 because it would’ve been up there but unfortunately I was unable to make weight and had to settle for 165. My goal now is to fill out as a 165 lifter and see if I can join the 600lbs club! Let me know what you think of the video.

I have no idea how strong these bands are but doubled they put a fair amount of tension

Put up 450 lbs. on bench press last night. First time ever pressing that much weight, last PR had been 435.

Did dead press in the rack today with green short bands wrapped around the bar. According to the Elitefts band tension chart they add round about 100lbs at the top. Last time i did this I topped out at 245X1 today i got

This is a doozy of a lift and a helluva lot of fun, probably pretty good for those that struggle through the middle of the bench and at lockout.

Beltless sumo block pull PR today. Pulled 560 from 3 inch blocks without a belt, a nice little 10lbs PR for that lift. apologies for my training partners foul language.

Squat 15x300# yesterday. It was my 5+ set on 5/3/1 and I wanted to see if I could do it. Wrecked me for the rest of the workout, but sometimes you just have to push a limit to see where it is. Maybe in a couple months when my 5+ set is at 315#, I’ll try to do a 20 rep set just to be able to say I did 20 reps with 3 plates…

5 months and 22 days post ACL reconstruction, I hit a PR of 30x140 for squats on the buffalo bar

First time squatting with 2 legs since the surgery.
