I have been lifting weights since i was 14 years old but never quite took it seriously until I was about 23 when i was introduced to powerlifting. Though i no longer compete I still value and cherish "strength" and continue to lift and try to make improvements every single time I train. I have tried ever program imaginable; conjugate, high frequency, cube, cube kingpin, sheiko, and smolov. At this point in my training career I am focusing more on a conjugate westside style system because it fits my goals of trying to become more athletic and develop strength in a variety of lifts, ranges of motion, and rep ranges. I do 2 dynamic days one for the upper, one for the lower, 2 max effort days, one for the upper, and one for the lower, and 1 conditioning day where i focus on loaded carries and sled drags.
