Training Personal Records Part 4

Well it took me a year to add 5lbs to my squat, but I finally squatted 500lbs last night in training at a body weight of 155. It felt pretty solid so I’m hoping I can add to it a little bit in the next few weeks. I’m just really glad to have finally broken that barrier.

440lbs @188lbs, 15lb PR, probably could of hit another 10-15lbs, but I’m a puss. Finally finding a nice groove for squat.

Ape, good lift, way to stick with it!!

Wow. Tremendous lift!

Followed the 500 squat up with a session that consisted of another 500lb squat, followed by a 280lb bench, and then a 585lb deadlift pr. Bench isn’t in the video, but it was a pretty solid session.

Easy bench PR, tryng 435 next time.

Switched to sumo and hit a couple PRs.

585x2
605x2.5 (balance and grip issues made me miss my third rep)

Hit 285 for a single benching, which is a 10 pound PR. Such close to hitting 295.

Great day HUGE PRs all around today.
415 for 5
415 for 10- PR
415 for 11- PR Again
Belt On

My little sister pulled 300lbs for a double. 2nd rep wasn’t the cleanest, but this is the first time she’s ever taken an attempt at the big 300. She’s on her way to 3 plates.

140’s x 8 on flat dumbbell bench. Body weight 210.

Have 440 in me for sure.

My little sister deadlifted 315lbs last night! This was the conclusion of a long and hard fought training cycle. She’s only been training for about 3 years. This is a pretty big accomplishment for a female lifter.

Hit 425, then 435 on deadlift. Think I still had more in me. Previous PR was 405.

Here is 415lbs for a double. Heaviest double I have ever done, lookin to triple this next week. The pic is 2nd rep. Bodyweight somewheres in the 190s. 8 weeks out? Nov 1st.

505 for 2 sets of 4 belt only.

130s x 8 Dumbbell incline. Body weight 210.

585x4.999, barely missed the last rep at lockout

Hit 3 sets of 5 at 305 on bench last night. Bodyweight 158.

500 for 10. Have been fighting for this for a while and other than coming out of position on rep 10 the set was easy.

You killed that Reed!

I am throwing around the idea of doing my first PL meet in the near future, so I tried doing some paused bench presses today. Worked up to 455. I know I need a lot of work, but it is a start.

Skip forward to :37 Seconds if you just want to see the bench…
