Training Personal Records Part 3

Few PR’s from my last cycle of 5/3/1, was my 3rd cycle, been working well so far, loving it !!

Squat = 155kg (342lbs) x8reps
Bench = 115kg (254lbs) x7reps
Dead = 190kg (419lbs) x8reps
Press = 60kg (132lbs) x12reps

All these are from my heaviest week, the 1+ reps week, so pretty happy with them.

405X5 on board press. going to try and set a PR on it this week. Who knows. Maybe in 25 years Ill be Meat status

Hey Meat and Dixie, thanks for all the love. I was training 50-60% off a box for my speed off the floor. I recently started pulling about 80% for singles off a box. If I can dial my lockout in as strong as my start I’d be great. I’m making a mad dash for an 800lb deadlift, I’ll meet you guys at the top!

Got 195 on incline bench for 5. My previous best was 3 reps, but that was only about 4 inches off the chest. I went full ROM today and still got more reps. Hoping to hit 215x3 next week. Will keep posted.

445 deadlift, 20 lb pr

405/275/480, 40/15/25 lb PRs respectively.

Hit 185 on press 2 days ago and just hit 315 on squats an hour ago. Both great milestones for me.

close grip bench 120kg/264lbs for one. feels so much better than a regular bench press. i think i will continue using this grip.

405 squat, 365 board press in the last week. Never thought I’d squat 400 lbs. Back surgery be damned!

Thanks for the kind words. The main reason I got into lifting was so that I could add stupid music to my videos.

Just did this Monday:

15lb All-time PR

2 years ago an orthopedic surgeon told me that I’d never squat or deadlift heavy again because of my hip. I’m thinking of emailing him this link. He’d probably respond by telling me “that’s not THAT heavy” LOL. He’d be right, but it’s a big number for me, and I’ve been chasing it for 5 years now. Extremely happy that I finally nailed it.

I think you summed up that lift pretty well yourself. . . “Fuck yeah.”

Also, sweet Steelers-colored singlet. A nice touch.
