Training Personal Records Part 3

NICE!!! DD

500 Back Squat with Light Knee Wraps @ 220 bodyweight. Had a awesome nose bleed on the way up haha. Huge confidence and motivation booster I can not wait for Record Breakers.

solid squatting Reed
hit a 325 floor press today. I had a little bit left in the tank, but I don’t want to miss any weights.

Squatted 355 beltless for a 20 pound PR with more in the tank. Finally hit 2x bodyweight! For once I didn’t good-morning a near maximal weight, probably from doing paused squats the past couple weeks.

375 beltless squat for another 20-pound PR…

I forgot to post this last week, but on my last strongman workout for the season, I got 245 axle clean once and press for three reps. Pretty happy since I have never gotten that weight before and then did it for three reps.

I hit a 405 squat earlier this week for a 40 lb PR. Belt only. I have a video but I suck at internets, hopefully I’ll have it on my log soon. This puts all my lifts at multiples of 100, with a 300 bench, 400 squat, and 500 deadlift (all belt only). Can’t wait to add 100 to each!! looooooooool

405 Front Squat 40lbs PR video in log.

225 bench finally. Only started benching again in April after a 1-year hiatus because of shoulder problems, so I’m happy enough with the progress.

Finally broke the 5 plate barrier with a solid 495lb back squat today. I want 500 so badly.

Tied an old deadlift pr of 315 and got a new front squat pr of 170 lbs.

bw-135 (trying to cut to lighter weight class)

285 dead bench

A couple PRs from the weekend:

545 no belt squat

625 no belt deadlift

I kept hitting nice PRs on plazma lately, I’m now stronger than I was in university!

Bodyweigth is 170-175 (to put thing in perspective)
Bench press 265
Back squat is 365
Deadlift up to 405

All of those are 100% legal & 100% RAW (no belt no strap no spot)

dang strong lifts man how much do you weigh?

Hit some rep PRs for squat over the weekend:

500 for a double then 505 for a double. Squated down to a low box to make sure I hit depth each time. The second rep for at 505 was grinder though.

Thanks dude, I weigh about 225

Sumo’s catching up to my conventional: 205 kg x 1

Also hit a “goal” of mine from waaaay back when (when I was just a young gym rat) and leg curled the stack for reps. The old ladies doing crunches beside me were mad impressed. Score.

Been taking a break from posting here, but this was too good not to post. Rehabing my lower body, so I decided to take a run at really pushing my bench. I haven’t maxed on bench in a while so I was going to test out today and run smolov JR to take a run at a 2x BW bench. Only, testing out today I was way stronger than I realized. I worked up to a paused 385 (my old pause record from my heaviest 40+ pounds heavier) and it was easy. So I went to 390 and got it easy, new all time PR. So I went up stairs and weighed myself - 197. So then with some ammonia I took 395 and got it easy. +10 pound all time PR. And a 2.005XBW paused bench without a handoff!

I actually think I could have taken a run at pausing 405, if I’d gone straight for it, but I was shaky and burnt after the 395.
