I was there once too. Good job on the PR…you’ll be getting a lot stronger soon.

275 lb. squat for 3 sets of 5. Linear progression round 2 is working nicely!

Thanks a lot.

Hit a 160 power clean pr too that i forgot to mention before.

137.5x4 with 5th spotted squat.

Thats easily the biggest squat rep PR for me. Im now repping stuff I’ve only ever felt comfortable doing singles with previously.

Took me a year to hit 135, and 3 years to get to 185. Just stay consistent and you’ll progress.

High bar box squat to parallel 295 pounds plus doubled light bands at knee height
9 sets of 2 in about 12 minutes.

I seem to have found a technique I can lift heavier with and not upset my back. High bar, wide stance with a very upright torso. Now I just need to get better at it.

Killed 170 bench today!

Hit a 540 DL last Meet (6/9/13), +30 from Previous Meet PR. Up and down day at the meet, this saved it somewhat.

On the one year anniversary of my TIA (Mini-stroke) I pulled a new deadlift PR of 325 lbs, +10 lbs.

140x2,1,1,1 squat. All within 2 minutes. No spotter and hate failing on squats so just hit the singles after the double. I wanted a triple then singles, but, I am ‘happy’ enough with it.

Damn it! I had 5plates on the bar. Pulled it to above knee, was about 3" to lock out and couldn’t get my hips through. I was mad pissed.

Next time I pull it, I will make sure I eat some more during the day and not get sick before hand! (subtle excuses!)

Finally got a PR for Log Clean and Press. It was 230 lbs. Not much, but a 20 lb improvement over last time.

hit a 325 bench today @181. Thats 20 pounds in about 4 weeks.

I’m running a program I found from surovetsky. Im on my phone right now but I have links to it in my log

^ Well done, sir! A 20-pound PR in four weeks is quite impressive. I’ve bookmarked the program that you linked to, looks interesting.

It’s fun if you like benching a lot…

325 deadlift today. I lift at my house and realized today that ive been doing them from a deficit since i started because i only have 25 lb plates and smaller. Hell yea!!
