squat 480 x 3 (5lb PR)
No video but got 1020 on leg press for 5.
Hang clean 255lb for one. Felt pretty easy and smooth. Though I have to admit that I had to drop into a full squat to get it, but still a “hang clean.” I am pretty happy because after injuries during rugby, I am starting to get back into it.
setup: reverse light bands set so that the last couple of inches the bands were totally slack
weight: 440 5lb PR and 455lb 20lb PR
This morning I did 135x20 front squat and 135x50 back squat. All without locking up my back. Hooray for healing. Now to very slowly start working back up.
Just hit a 315 ATG squat for a 10 lb. PB. It’s up 30 pounds in ~3 weeks.
hit a 325 floor press today. I don’t want this gain train to end.
245 to parallel front squat. =0)
5 pounds at a time…
260x10 incline bench
Benched 305x1 today. 10 pound all time pr

Thanks! I’m just gonna bust my ass until it happens.
475 lbs flat bench.
bombed 485lbs right at 3 bd height.
500lbs flat bench w/ titan ram x 2
500lbs raw is in sight.
hip width stance low box squat
345 for a 5lb PR and…
355 for a 15lb PR
I’m almost certain I’ll get 405 squat, maybe more when I test as mechanically disadvantaged that squat I just did tonight is.

495lbs + 40lbs chains @ 2.5bd height Deadstop floorpress - it was quick.
and yes, i quoted myself. lol
I really struggled at this last meet, but I at least came away with a small meet PR in the bench and deadlift. I don’t have video of the bench, but here’s the deadlift:
Do rep records from 5/3/1 count?
Starting actual 1 rep max for bench was 1 plate. First week hit 12 reps with 105, using Wendler’s formula that adds up to 147 1 rep max. Today I hit 11 reps with 110, adds up to 150. Don’t expect those to translate to actual numbers, but it’s a good way to compare rep maxes to each other while doing 5/3/1.
On that note, I changed my deadlift form a little this week from previous weeks. First week I hit 235 for 10 reps, this week I hit 247.5 for 10 reps as well. Just having my hips a little higher in the set up added 12.5 pounds to my 10 rep max. Pretty sweet.
If I hit enough reps on squat tomorrow, I’ll have broken each rep record I set last week.
