Training Personal Records Part 3

Deadlifted 5plates x 5 dead stopped at 92kg. Been wanting to do that for a while because I’m absolute shit at repping stuff out. Hoping to get up to a 600 single in the next month or so while getting to 90kg.

Here’s my Deadlift PR 735lbs… This was my projected third attempt for my upcoming meet… Looks like that’s going to change…

I week back, I hit my first 300lb bench. Total grinder. I look forward to hitting 315, then after that a double bw bench.

215 power clean (today)
Mil press 135x8 on 5/3/1 3 day
Squatted 260x13 Friday also on 5/3/1 3 rep day so I’m gonna up my max for the calculations to 340 or so for the next cycle
Not much compared to most ppl her but I’m 17 and 170 so I’m happy

5/3/1-5 day 175x10 Bench
5/3/1-3 day 185x10
5/3/1-1 day 195x10
Next cycle 5 day-180x12
This week is for the 3 sets. Hoping to get 190x12. Very weak, but whatever.

Deadlift rep record- 450x6. Not happy with my arch because I feel I my chest and head should be a little more up. Also, my buddy started filming late so you don’t see the take-off of the first life.

This was a big one for me

Done at 195lbs. 3 years ago I injured my back badly and didn’t pull heavy since that time. 7 weeks ago I set up a ROM progression style of deadlift where I pulled from mats and increased the ROM each week, and managed to do this. I’m going to restart at 535 next week and hopefully manage the same thing in 2 months.

On 06-18-2011 squatted 511 in belt & knee wraps 16 lb. PR. Pulled 501 raw. Not a PR, but it had been at least two years since I was able to do it, so it felt great anyway.

Oh yeah, had another bench PR that week as well. On 06-14, got 320 for three reps. 6 lb. PR and for reps!

315 atg Oly style squat with belt a notch loose (didn’t offer much support, just there to get my abs activated)

Also a 320 SSB free squat to hip-crease just below parallel

I just pulled 502 this past weekend at my first ever meet. I’ve only been deadlifting for six months, so I’m kind of pumped. I have my sights set in 600.

Gym PR. I hit this in a meet back in April and just now got back up. I’m looking for 315 before Nov. Been wanting 3 plates my whole life, feels awesome being so close.

Great job. This week I got 200 lbs up 10 ten times on bench. The last three I couldn’t feel my arms. It was awesome.

couple days ago…I tied an all time rep record in the conventional deadlift with 225kg x 11.

I did 225 x 11 in my 20’s. but they were completely RAW…

the one I did the other night I used a belt and straps. so not a real rep record, but at my age (43) I’ll take it.

Standing Overhead Press: 100kg/220lb x4

Bench Press (Dropset): 127.5kg/281lb x9

Woohoo. I decided to max on deload week and got 240 on bench. I tried 250 after that and got stuck 3 inches off my chest. Next month…
