Hit a pr on pin stiff leg deadlifts, with no carbs, then I unwisely went for another PR and just about blacked out, posted vid for the luls of it all.

545 pr

lulz

Damn man, I’ve had that woozy, about to pass out feeling a time or two before, no fun. Glad you decided to hold onto the rack a few more seconds.

That’s a good one DF. I’ve done the same thing but it was a result of hyperventilating. I went down like a sack of potatoes. It’s a hazard for sure.

Straps down PR today!! Not only was it a PR, but it also was easy as pie!

wtfffff where was the girl?!?!?!

jk, solid squatting man.

Hahahahah she wasn’t there today… Sorry dude. It was a sad day for youtude.

This isn’t a massive weight PR it’s the first time I’ve paused this weight but this was my 4th attempt at it this day, my hips and back refused to stop cramping and then on the last attempt I took my arch lower and it just went beautifully. Optimus Prime Pants PR. 455 Slingshot Close Grip with a pause.

315x4 (help for 5) Fat grip Bench. This was a 40lbs PR, last time I did it I got 275x4 and 305x1.5

675 Rack Pull, +20 or 30lb PR. Probably the hardest rep of anything I’ve ever done. Now my face is covered in red dots, haha

Thankyou, I appreciate it!

I have found that i make my best gains when I squat every other week, while deadlifting the weeks in between. So for my SQ/DL routine, I have an A and B week split. So it would look something like this:

A;
Squat 3x3 or 3x5 (increasing weight each set)
Chain suspended Goodmornings 1-3RM (beltless)
Leg press or hack squat 3-4x10
Heavy ab work

B;
Deadlift 6-10 speed singles w/ 30 seconds rest (used 315-365)
leg press or hack squat 3-4x10
hamstring movement 3-4x10
heavy ab work

I would sometimes throw glute bridges in or ME deadlift instead of speed pulls if i felt i needed it.

For bench I do 3x5 increasing weight on each set. (Sometimes ill do reverse band bench, bench with chains, floor press or deadbench to switch it up if i feel i need it.)
board work (2, 3 or 4 board) 3x3
close grip inclines 2-3x10

I found that on my bench training, when i cut out all isolated tricep work and just focus on hitting them through board presses or close grips i make much faster gains. Also, backing off on the weight used on board work has also allowed me to make better progress. once in a while using DB incline or Weighted Dips to switch things up.
So, its all simple basic movements for everything which i find work best for me. And switching things up when i feel i need it.
