162.5 1 armed DB rows - 10 reps (4 sets) - wasn’t going for as many as possible, but that’s the first time I’ve ever had access to anything over 120 lb db’s so that was new for me.

Hit a training suit bottom PR today. Felt easy. Going for 700 at 93kg in 8 weeks.

Stop distracting us with the squatting, theres a good lookin woman on camera!
Did you see she had good depth too? Too bad you couldn’t feel her caress through the suit dude, it looked tender.
Hahahha… I somehow feel obligated to have a spotter around when squatting into the 500s… Not sure she would be good for much but hey… She seems to be getting more ettention in my recent videos than my lifting lol
Today I tried out the dark side and wore some single ply briefs - these were about 4 sizes too big as I could fit a small child down the front and my fist through the legs when they were on. So, not a whole lot of support but it did let me make it through a squat session without my hip flexor flaring up massively.
So on to how today went:
Squats:
550 x 1 PR
Rev Band Squat (green bands, fully deloaded at the top)
600 x 1 PR
650 x 1 PR - flew up.
Tried for 705 and it all went wrong from the start. Monolift was a bit high and I couldn’t unrack both sides. Got reset, lowered the monolift and my head was out of it, started descending, got about half way down and felt my back flare up massively (herniated a disc in October) right at my previous injury spot so I called it and went back up. Probably shouldn’t have gotten greedy with things. All and all it was fun to take a go in gear, even if it didn’t really give me much support.
You lift raw? There’s no way those sail flapping huge ass shorts would be considered raw in any part of the world. Christ only knows what you’re wearing under those huge shorts.
