My coating of winter fat reduces my range of motion very slightly. Like benching from a half board all the time.

tonight was one of those nights i wish i could put in a bottle and disperse when needed. i whored up several PR’s. i just couldn’t miss tonight. this was the first week of benching against bands and i would have been happy to hit 405. i ended with 495 which i would have been skeptical if someone told me i would hit that on the last week of the cycle.

bench against bands- 495x1

floor press- straight legs, long pause- 475x1 + 20lb PR

titan ram close grip bench - 535x1 + 40lb PR

Uhhhhh, I did 2 sets of 250x3 close grip last week. But I never cam anything besides the 3 lifts. As far as bench I got this last week:

As far as deadlifts, I did this in November:

Going to film squats later on, but it dropped since I neglected legs around Nov-Dec. But I was at 315x3 around October…

305x1 Conventional 2" deficit deadlift +5lb PR from last week. Looked like hell though.

275 X 1 Bench today. Would love to hit 300 by the end of this 531 cycle but it is probably wishful thinking.

500 box pull from below knee! Straps bc i tore a callous on 455x2 set.

@DF Thanks man, nice pull on your part too! You’re position looked like it was just as much of a pain to pull from as mine. I felt like I was in a really disadvantageous position with where I was pulling from.

415 bench hit this last weekend. also had a 600 squat on that day Redirecting...

i too suffer from the floorpress touching my chest.

pr for the night.

435 + 65 lbs of chains x 1 parallel box squat.

Let me brag on GVela a bit more, he tweaked his back while destroying the 600 squat, and so did the 415 bench with no arch or back power whatsoever.

They seemed solid enough lol. Didnt break, they were bending a little, but you could always stack some quarters or dimes underneath the middle to prevent that too.
