Thanks! opened with 374 at my last meet haha

Squatted 315 160 chains x1, big PR for me

Squat 420
Bench 365

T-minus 1.5 weeks till 5/3/1

*Madcow 5x5 added 30lbs to my squat in about 10 weeks

405+188 in chains

Hit 225x5 on front box squats tonight. Here’s the video. I was pleasantly surprised how well I kept my lower back arched.

CS

Homemade slingshot bench press 365x6 +5rep PR @ 170lbs BW.

Now the thing I cant decide based on the video is if my setup was the sickest arch I’ve ever gotten into or if my setup was complete shit ie. hips off the bench… Either way waaay easier than last time!

Hips were coming up. Learn to drive the feet out to push you back and increase pressure on the traps. Will help a lot when you learn to do it. Nice bench though. Very strong for a 170lb lifter.

Recent PR for me:
455 2x3 belt wrap - not really a PR, but was an RPE PR as my RPE was like 7 on these sets. 600lb belt/wrap squat by the end of March baby!

Man I want a 600 wrapped squat so badly. Hoping it can happen this year. What is your best belt+wraps squat now, if you’ve tested it?

Competed today and hit a PR bench.

Where was the other 40 pounds that needed to be on that bar? Good press.

I deadlifted 420 for 4 reps at 155 bodyweight. I leaned forward bad on the first rep, it looked like a 1rm on the first rep. The next three weren’t nearly as hard.

Thanks. I missed 423 for my 3rd attempt. My shirt is too big (the guy giving the lift off has fit in it), so it’s hit or miss really. I’m happy as hell with the pr and ready to get a shirt that fits.

415 close grip, ass came up and don’t know if you’d call that a pause. I love benching in winter, it’s like pressing from a half board.
