And I am seriously jealous of the monolift and bench.
Awesome stuff meat and dixie!
Hit a 285x3 PR 3board press last night. Just as easy as last times 275x3.

probably low 700’s right now. nothing special.
^That seems pretty special to me lol. Damn, that competition bench and mono lift are nice. I’m very jealous.
I pulled 340x11 on the 5rm of 5/3/1. Failed to the grip at the end, but everything else felt fine.
dixie, do the briefs help alot with deads?
never used any gear…but im thinking i might start.

They do, but not that much. My best raw pull is 615 conventional, best pull in briefs is 625 sumo. A full suit provides more pop (655 in the gym with the suit) but is difficult to pull in.
3 sets of 1 rep today in Bench at what HAD BEEN my 1 rep max only a month ago !
hit 295 on the bench press for a single two days ago. i threw th last five pounds on to try and break 300 and crapped out.

Monday hit 3 sets of 1 rep at max and last nite hit a new deadlift max of 425 (which went up pretty damn smooth)
thanks to wendler for the kick ass warm up to max protocol. 50% x 5 reps, 60% x 3, 70% x2, 80% x 1, 90% x1, 95% x1 and then hit Max! worked well.
Hit my first PR after coming back from a broken leg. I pulled 375 off mats that were about 3-4" below the knee. This is one of my sticking points so I’m trying to hammer this one good.

Dixie, which suit would you recommmend for a gear newb?
dead suit and a squat suit?

I’ll chime in. I would start with single ply for sure. If you pull sumo, just buy a super centurion w/s and you can squat and pull in it and that will be a cheap way to learn. If you pull conventional a suit probably won’t ever do much but you could try a velocity or fusion.

For a beginner, Metal V Type Squatter. I loved it. Great for pulling sumo in as well.
If you pull conventional…deal with it and learn to pull sumo, you can get more pounds out of a squat suit pulling sumo than a conventional deadlift suit pulling conventional.
Far as briefs go, only ones I have ever used are Inzer Power Pants. Meh, they get the job done.
