Training or Diet?

I also hate assholes who go to a party with friends and then wont have a good time since they don’t want to have a drink or eat anything because of ‘diet’ reasons. Then why the fuck did you come out in the first place if your just going to be up tight?

Couldn’t agree more. These people who eat super squeeky clean 24/7 are also usually the smallest as well.

Yeah I am the designated driver. It’s a personal choice and you shouldn’t hate anyone for doing what they think is best. It would be the same thing as me hating the guy who drinks a few shots. But I dont. I respect his choices.

Basically figure out what you need to be eating in order to make gains. If your daily nutrition isn’t up to par, you’re essentially wasting your time in the gym.

So now eating healthy is not eating at all? That’s interesting. My reas0n for eating the way i do (and for anyone else who eats like I do) is because I care about what I put in my body. it has nothing to do with looks really. After you see what a poor diet can do to someone you really start caring about yourself

So enjoying some food that might not be the most healthy with a group of friends is going to kill you and turn you into a lard ass?

Yes but you don’t eat enough to GROW. It’s far easier and quicker to get enough calories if you throw in something dirty every once in a while. You seem to have the mentality that eating a cheeseburger once a week will turn you into a bed-ridden, obese, diabetic.

No one gives a shit how clean you eat if you weigh 135 pounds ‘of steel’ and remain at that weight for any length of time.

I’d recommend a little variety for starters. I certainly couldn’t eat that same set of meals and snacks each day. Plus there are certainly more “clean” foods out there than are included in your diet. Also, if you only eat a narrow range of foods, you might be missing out on some key nutrients.

-Like someone mentioned, where’s the beef? There are certainly lean cuts available. Why not lean pork too?
-Aside from the one apple, where are all the fruits and vegetables? I couldn’t imagine a diet that could be labeled healthy and complete with that little.
-lose the white bread.
-I’d probably be drinking more than one glass of milk a day. If it’s skim change to something with some fat in it. Some people trying to gain mass swear by whole milk.

I assume that you are attempting to gain lean weight. If that’s not happening, then you need to eat more. It’s the only way.

At 135 lbs, I don’t think you get the right to talk about how easy it is to gain muscle. But yeah, you know, that’s just my opinion.

I don’t weigh 135lb. I weigh 210. I was referring to the OP. HE weighs 135lb.

Because in the end you will look like you do and I will look like I do. I will be muscled up and clean/sober. you, drunk and annoying…You will be ready for another beer and pass out on the floor whilst I take the ladies home :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

lol jk dood…

I don’t drink because I feel it hinders my gains…I go out with friends because I enjoy going out and socializing. If I’m in a bar with a non-alcoholic drink nobody cares, If I’m at a party with a red cup and water, nobody cares. I don’t know what part of the world your living in…lol

I’ve done my share of partying…I think I lived out my “crazy 20’s” from 17-20 lol.

just jokin around too man, I don’t want you taking this personal…

I’ve never even sipped a drop of any alcoholic beverage or smoked anything in my life… People here can’t believe it.
It’s not even due to health or gaining concerns, I just sort of don’t do it? Dunno why.

As far as the partying thing… I eat normally at restaurants and such…
I try to get something protein rich, but don’t beat myself up over it if I don’t get anything like that (there are always md bars in my car as an emergency ration

I’m a night person anyway, so staying up somewhat late isn’t an issue, I just don’t go overboard.

If you’re in contest prep, I can understand being all anal about such things… But in normal bulking mode (unless, of course, you’re dead afraid of bulking…), why should one care ? Just make sure you eat enough…

#edit: It annoys the hell out of me when people fucking insist that I must drink or smoke or else I’m some sort of alien.
To each his own, for chrissake.
It’s not as if I were bugging people about their own habits.

Your opinons are your opinons, I’ve had people who are fine around groups that don’t drink or eat and are fine. Yet it’s the few who have to point out how bad what we are doing to have fun is. This is really annoying.

Oh I totally agree dood.

I can’t stand it when people always try and educate myself or others regaurding stuff that really doesn’t matter. We each have a body and can do whatever we want with it.

On a side note, when I go out to eat, I GRUB! (2 big macs or a large pizza after deads or leg day is fantastic!) unless I’m dieting for a contest of course…but I’m not normally going “out” a whole lot during those times.
