If there are other figure girls where you train, start there. Ask them if they have a coach. Even a paid consultation with a coach will help her find out what areas she needs to develop to succeed. Also, send her over to the sister site www.figureathlete.com. The women over there are fantastic and there are tons of figure girls who can help and support her.

I think she or you, I’m not sure, may have caught teh gay.
Her diet and training shouldn’t be too different from what you’d do though, just fewer calories.
my lady is training for figure, she still does split training, but throws in plyometrics, stair master interval training w/ weight vested. the chief difference in her training is A) shorter rest periods B) supersets most things.
she hits cardio all the time, after her weight training. mixing up steady state and hiit.
(aforementioned is advisable if appreciable muscle mass has already been established.)
