Training Legs

Ha! Victory!

Got your hair all in a bunch, huh, you filthy cur?

Wait. How much do you weigh again?

  1. Lol why?

THESE ARE NOT MINE!

My good friend, and potential training partner (still not sure why he wants to train with me, but I’ll take it) is 6’1" and will step on stage this Saturday between 250-255. He weighed 251 yesterday first thing in the morning. I believe he said his legs are at 28-28.5" right now. His main focus after his 2 shows this season (second is TN State Aug. 14), will be to get his legs up to par with his upper body. I dont have any pics but from the side they look much better. We were thinking he needed to increase his sweep. He half-asses his legs and I was curious what you bigger guys see as weaknesses…

His upper legs look damn good. id say yes on the sweep though. Also i dunno if its just the angle, but his left calf looks a lot better than his right. Might be something to check out.

I’d say it’s probably just the angle. As you can tell, he has his right leg twisted out a little which makes his sweep look even better than it really is. I’ll talk to him about the cavles tonight so he can adjust his posing if its a noticable difference.

i wouldnt necessarily say that. Maybe more so that people enjoy hearing more about things, and hearing what others do and their given advice, or different perspectives. plus people have certain questions that they dont want to ask when creating a new thread in fear of being eaten alive by a lot of the assholes on these boards. Hell, i was nearly broken not too long ago.

Not to mention, you were prodding me for a back thread a moment ago eh, so…ya know, stones and glass houses and such.

I think all these threads are gold and I demand an entire back thread from mid back musculature, to the lats, and spinal erectors.

get with the program man, its been done for like 2 minutes…Minus erectors. Lol i mean YEA i could go into every muscle in the back but FEH, lol when you get to that level of musculature discussion, EVERY movement you do is a compound movement.

Dang Akuma… you’re gonna get a whole series of threads for every body part together and form a super bodybuilding sticky

Lol nah my shits not good enough for stickys. Its decent for now, but as time passes, these threads will be lost. people a couple weeks from now could read these forums and have no knowledge of them. Then down the road, a month or so, someone else will start a “Bodybuilding triceps” thread. So is the fate of any Forum.

Where Da Legs At?

Gotta love Akuma’s threads, one embarks on a quest to learn about legs, finds this thread and in the process finds themselves questioning their sexuality with all the gay talk in here.

Once again, blame CC for that, KB didnt help either. And with all that talk, seeing a post from X saying “Where the legs at” just doesnt help either haha.

How do you guys feel about putting ten pound plates under your heels during front squats? seems like it would help hit quads well
