I injured my back yesterday doing SLDL on my lower body day. I realised when I started doing squats I could not move past the warmup sets without pain.
I am doing a 4 day split (Lyle Mcdonald generic bulking routine) and would like to keep training the upper body with some modifications… is this advised?
The back pain is nowhere near the severity of previous injuries so I think it should clear up quicker than usual. But, I don’t want to miss 2-3 weeks of training.
