I think I know what you mean, but understand that Mike Tyson was like 5’10" and around 215. Not to tell you your goals, but someone like John Dodson (above) is about 5’3" and walks around near 155-160 fairly lean. Maybe keep something like that as a ballpark target, number-wise.
Where are you currently with your bodyweight?
Haha, Thankyou Chris, No I was not expecting to get stronger, I just needed a change for a little while. My numbers are already creeping back up. My friends and I are doing fortnightly weigh ins and measure ins. first one was last night. everyone is making progress. I lost 4cm from my chest(definitely fat) and 2cm from my stomach but gained on biceps and quads. worst performer was my “Insanity” friend but in fairness he is still rehabbing from a terribly fractured tib and fib for which he had to have an ilizarov cage for 6 months.
Diet wise were all different in terms of calories as they are much bigger than me and are all big meat fans. Ive actually reaped better results by upping protien calories with eggs, cottage cheese and fish. I do drink whey shakes also. None of us are doing anything special dietwise, just avoiding cakes in the office etc. we have a “Whats app” phone app community to declare what weve done that day or anything else of interest to keep us focussed. it is definitely working.
My current weight is 165lbs but i dont really care much for weight. I prefer measurements, looking in the mirror and how my clothes fit for my feedback. as long as my stomachs going down and the rest are going up Im good.I definitely have 10lbs of fat to spare before the end of the challenge. with the kettlebells Im doing two days of 250 swings and some bicep work and oblique extensions and woodchops which I dont usually do in the gym. My new favourite thing is loaded carrys. I swear thats why Ive seen so much fat loss, particularly on my chest.
I understand that Mike was bigger but I like the solid look he had. Im very square myself(wide hips and shoulders)
