To Professor X

Don’t really want to get involved in this Waylander, but CT has said on previous occasions not only that X’s back is big but that he is ‘pro size’ in the back. Whether that refers specifically to ‘lats’ I have no idea.

How’s that altitude affecting your recovery?

Has to be a drastic change coming from nearly sea level.
I was wondering the same thing.

I recently went out to Denver in May. We went and did some cardio training up at Red Rock (fucking beautiful.) That’s around 6,000 feet or so. Coming from about 800 feet above sea level here, to that, was insanely brutal. I really didn’t notice a huge difference as far as weight-lifting was concerned, but cardio was treacherous.

I’m not sure how high they’re sitting over there in CO Springs.
Same here. My company has offices in Ft. Collins and Broomfield (near Denver). Coming from sea level, I just about heave the whole week training while I’m there.

Couple years ago went skiing with the family in Snowbird Utah, thought I would do some light training in the fitness center cause the snows were so heavy one day…yeahhhhh bad idea.

nothing to do with X using light weights, but he does not have a particularly impressive physique, and carries a lot of bodyfat. he behaves on these forums like he is a bodybuilding veteran when in reality countless other people on and off of here have achieved more in this pursuit.

he does appear to be a very nice guy in the vids, but behaves like a spoilt bully on the forums.
He looks exactly like he has looked in every avatar picture he has posted of himself. How could you not have known what he looks like “in real life”? There are 20k pictures of him right beside his posts on this forum.

One other thing thats a general observation- X isn’t gassed up on a gram or 2 of test like some of the other folks around here have admitted that they are. Lets compare apples to apples here. X has outstanding size, and he has done it without gear. Keep things in perspective with the critics and their physiques.
Modok, this isn’t even about size at this point so the whole gear debate is pretty much pointless unless you are telling me you can’t build a proportioned physique without steroids? Size is only 1 piece of the puzzle in bodybuilding.

You don’t think it’s funny that Prof X said he had a better and more developed back than Ronnie Rockel, ya know the Olympia competitor, even though he’s never taken a picture of it before? And then for CT tell him his back should be much bigger in that last back training video you don’t find that ironic?

His avatar pics always showcase front delt, traps, biceps and chest. His strong points. That’s all we’ve ever seen of him. For some reason he’s totally neglected, or so it seems, medial delt, rear delt, triceps and lats. I don’t even know how his legs look. And all of this because he doesn’t want to post full body physique pics on here for critique and now he’s going to have to struggle to fix those things as a natty in his 30’s because he didn’t want to post bodybuilding mandatories 10 years ago. Good luck!
Matbe I’m wrong, but I’ve never taken X for a guy that gives a shit about proportions and winning shows. He seems to just want to be a big, strong bodybuilder with a lower case “B”. He is a recreational lifter, not a competitive bodybuilder. I’m in much the same mindset.

I could give a shit less if my physique is “balanced”…I’m not trying to win any shows, and wouldn’t want to now. Big, healthy, and strong…but it my rear delts don’t tie in very well to the back or my calves aren’t the same size of my upper arms… I could not care less. Thats all I was saying.
Dude, first off he is trolling. My original comment in that thread was, “I hope my back is about that size now” in reference to me stating that I did npot believe that bodybuilder had the same “pro back” development as the other guys in the top ten.

How that became “I think my back is bigger than Rockel” is beyond me.

They like to lie and they like to troll.

Why you guys accept that from them is strange to me.

Further, pics of my back and legs are in my Indigo log and have been posted for months. Hell my first leg pic was posted about two years ago…and by the way, Waylander’s legs look small in comparison yet you don’t see me making huge posts about that or his lacking chest. CT has never said my back is small.

My legs look small compared to yours? hahahahaha. That’s great. When you can see all 4 heads of your quad and measure 29.5" or greater come talk to me. In the mean time learn how to do a lunge please. I also don’t act like I’m a know it all bodybuilding god that is a gift to these forums nor do I talk down to people less developed than me.

Fat, weak, small, etc @ 22 yrs old @ 280 lbs. FML

And yes, I need bigger legs and chest, but guess what? I’d never know if I didn’t post pics on here to be critiqued now would I? Let’s see if those are still weak points in a year.

TO change the subject though. Those prowler sessions looked fucking bad ass. I’m gonna start incorporating car pushes in the parking lot. Ebomb advocates those and he loves them and says it’s a great way to mimic the prowler. Cool beans.

Yes they do they are called Sleds.

weight is weight, don’t matter what you’re pushing. That said, whole lot easier to push a prowler by yourself than a car

Seems like there are things that definitely need work. I hope that you do start addressing your weak points/changing up your training to balance your physique better, only because you are clearly capable of doing it and doing it well.

It seems like you are out there to learn and improve yourself. Hopefully that’s true, and hopefully you’ll stick with it when you leave and get even better.

Personally, I was surprised to see some of the weak points that have been mentioned. But I like Professor X a lot more after watching the videos, and I find myself actually “rooting” for him. I’m all for constructive criticism, and I hope he takes it to heart, from CT and/or some of the bigger guys on here who are helpful. Waylander makes good points, they’re just lost in the bitterness.

I used to push cars for rugby traing from the age of 15-18. I have to get back into it again, great for power and explosiveness.

But watching these videos, it seems to me that pushing the prowler is a lot harder (obv if you have enough weight) due to the friction caused. There is no momentum, unlike the car.

I had to get my dad to break every so often because after the intial ‘take off’ it was a lot of momentum.

This is true. You don’t have much momentum because the prowler wants to stop. Pushing a car is fairly easy if no one is braking. Larger vehicles obviously are better because it’s harder toget momentum on them, but they still require braking at times.

Looking pretty weak here prof!

X has me on ignore I rarely post anything about him anymore. However, everything I said in my third post in this thread is true. In the main, I’m disappointed that he has been too proud to post or even take pictures of himself for critique which has allowed such glaring weak points to go unfixed for 20 years. If he had been a little more humble and done that he could have the physique of a competitive BBer.

Sorry, when you crown yourself king of a BBing forum and think you know everything I better be fucking impressed with how you look. The advanced guys will understand what I’m talking about upon viewing X in action, the noobs will nut ride harder.

That’s basically my thought on the subject. Not in an asshole way, just that there are obvious weak points. I can definitely understand Waylander’s posts. PX’s form seems off on some basic exercises and is somewhat masked by CT but at the same time I agree there’s somewhat of a “rooting for PX” in my mind and my criticisms only come from the same place they come from seeing any lifter, right away I look for what could be brought up because that’s how it gets after you’ve seen hundreds of physiques.

I thought it was interesting today though that CT said he himself would have to drop 25lb to be in contest condition even though he’s so damn lean now. I mentioned to PX a little while ago that I would bet he’d have to be 225 to be really lean and he said he doubted it but now I’m thinking for contest condition he’d be around 205 or so. Like CT said, people really underestimate how much has to be lost for that. I mean look at Stu, he was a lean 210 and he competes around 175

by the way Modok, has X even said he’s natural? I’ve never seen that said by him and even if he said it, who knows. I have no idea, and that goes for most people…you generally almost never know.

Have you tried it? My sister has moved my old car when it was in neutral. Any seasoned lifter should be able to do so “fairly easily”

CT said I may have to drop to 220 to be in contest shape. You on the other hand wrote that to be as lean as Austin I would have to drop below 220. Not the same at all.

Look, guys, I am all for constructive criticism, but what Waylander is doing ain’t that. Waylander’s glaring weak points are his chest and quads…so for him to come on here like I wasted the past decade by being so out of proportion is ridiculous.

The difference, the only reason I am bringing that up now is because of the prickish way he entered this thread along with Austin.

No one is against truly constructive criticism. That is why I am here…and no offense, I will rely on CT’s advice before your’s or anyone else in this thread even though it isn’t like I put zero value in it.

I am here to get better. I am here to reach that upper level. I am not here to be degraded or made fun of as if I got to this size lifting baby weights.

There is a huge difference between the two.

Anyone who can help me reach that level? I am all ears.

Anyone trying to put me down can honestly kiss my ass.
