To Professor X

No, you aren’t the guy who has been here for a decade.

Gee…maybe that’s why you aren’t here right now. ’

Are you bragging about being invited to an event out of internet forum popularity?
The decade on a message board and the introverted, socially awkward demeaner in real life are clicking into place.

Dude, I’m not bragging about anything. I just know how things are.

Guys like you need to do this. You are like the guys on the freeway riding your ass when you drive or purposely slowing down in front of you after they pass you. It is the one bright spot in your day when you get to be in control of something…and right now, for you, that is your keyboard.

Either way, you’ll have to excuse me. I am about to shower. I plan on dancing in the shower and even singing. I then plan on meeting with CT again.

I hope your day gets better.

I sure hope mine does.

Are any of your 88 posts not troll nonsense?
nope.

I’m saying: all I need to have access to is:
user’s IP
other ip’s used with this user
other users logged in with this ip

And I will stop 60%+ of the trolling on this board.

What I really want to know is; how are you and Chris Shugart getting along? haha

My guess is it’s easier in real life than on a message board

We haven’t debated about anything, that’s why and he is a professional. I am also sure we are not that different as far as attitude…which is bound to clash no matter what.

It isn’t like we ran in with boxing gloves on…even though that might make quite a video.

Interesting and entertaining thread there’s been a lot of good points.

You see, this is why i hate Shows like Jerry Springer. Kids watch it growing up, then when they feel so damn attention hungry, they turn everything into it. Im gonna come back in three pages to see that That guy had an affair with That guy, who was really with her, WHO in fact isnt a her but in actuality is a horse; not really, the horse is a broom.

^^Growing up I loved Jerry Springer!

the show really started to go downhill once they cut the camera away from all the fights and started breaking them up to fast :frowning:

I don’t do barbell military presses. I had shoulder discomfort from it and when I rehabbed with P/T and corrected some bad lifting habits the issues subsided. BB MP’s are still uncomfortable.

However, I regularly press 120’s db’s shoulder press and can do 4 plates with HS shoulder press just fine.

I recently met up with “Counting Beans” and we did a shoulder workout. He did seated military bb presses. I did one set - a warmup set with not much weight at all - and said “That’s it for me, I’ll spot you”. I’m not used to the movement and it was uncomfortable and I’m not willing at this time to ‘work in’ that movement because I’m growing without it and I don’t see the benefit at this time.

CB also started with lat raises, which I usually do mid-workout. That brought all my other numbers down because it was different.

PX is obviously a big dude and lifts more than most people here, but that he (or anyone) is instantly proficient in every single movement there is. We all have to acclimate to new movements or workouts. Shorter rest periods? Pure hell at the start.

lol, you nicked your chin on the warmups and I knew you were done, lol. I was gonna tell the story but…

Anywho… I was all out of sorts that workout. New gym, new person to lift with, 35lbs plates. I feel like it would take me a session or two just to feel comfortable enough to push like I normally would.

Eh…

A seated barbell press? A new and unfamiliar movement? For someone who claims to have been lifting for 20 years (despite not having much to show for it)?
What’s next? Squats are new and unfamiliar?

That’s like someone who claims to be a top chef not knowing how to cook a fucking omolette.
I HATE it when people do this. ^^^ They make an analogy that doesn’t take into account any other variables than the one that they are trying to prove, so it looks like a solid comparison. While it is very effective against dumb people, it looks dumb when used like this.

The comparison is more like this: A person is a top chef, however, they haven’t used a basic stove in over 20 years.

Chef=Weightlifer
Basic Stove=Basic movements
The analogy goes down the drain anyway, since apparently he was never a ‘Top Chef’, just claiming to be one.

So we get all these comments ‘So what if he’s weak, this is the bodybuilding forum!’ Does he remotely look like a bodybuilder?
Maybe we should rename this section ‘The Tubby Unathletic Gymrat’ section.

Credibility is shot. Guess I should always be more critical about the validity of forum posters from now on.

I thought this was hilarious… you know, YOU talking about validity of posters, and credibility.

BTW, you need to get laid, bad.

Probably be a good idea to not do Facebreakers then, though it is a hell of a burn.

I’m not the guy with 9 years on a message board and a 40k long controversial holier than thou posting history.
And yeah, I could probably do better on a stage. My gut isn’t as wide as my lats.

‘OR, maybe we can ask why you ignore that CT is using the same weight.’

Because

A) He is clearly using it for demonstrative purposes (He was breezing with the weight you were shitting yourself with)

and most importantly for a bodybuilding forum

B) He has a good body.

Nice job on the loose trigger happy ad hominems there. Looks like you are as skilled at rhetoric as you are at seated barbell presses.

Its funny ur talking all this shit.

No stats.
No right.
