Yea
Seems sorta useless to put someone on ignore then. Like putting your fingers in your ears and go “la la la la la la la”, but then later someone else tells you what the guy said anyway :)
exactly. It’s more of an immature “statement” than anything i think

I cant recall a time Way completely belittled someone and made them feel like a retard for asking a question. He’s pretty open about stuff, will help you if he thinks you’re being serious and need it, and contributes well.

I dont get why people have so much to prove sometimes.
Yeah Way has been a pretty nice guy even through all his bodybuilding success. He definitely approaches others questions and comment in a nicer manner than X.

You were a bit of a dick in this thread though Way… ;)
Hey I admitted to being a dick in my earlier post so it’s ok  lol

Actually I think it’s quite the opposite - it’s more mature to ignore someone who constantly rubs you the wrong way, because the alternative is constant bickering and dick measuring - which is WAY more immature than simply ignoring someone you think is an asshole.

Why would anyone care who I ignore? I ignore headhunter as well…because his posts lead to nothing but dumbass arguments. Way spent a good amount of time this past year doing nothing but admittedly trolling any thread that came up that I was involved in. He even said this himself…yet me ignoring him to put an end to constant bullshit is now immature?

LOL.

Clearly, some of you see what you want to see.

This thread is what, 31 pages now? It may be just me, but after all of that, how much have some of you changed about yourselves? I mean, unless in the midst of trying to spot every personal defect you can in my life, you have found yourselves to be truly the picture of perfection.

Please, post perfected physiques and inhumanly humble pictures of yourselves after this post:

Somebody better load up the crickets.

Competitive fire can outburn the ignore function!
HOLY SHIT. You need to put a disclaimer on your profile pic that says “may burn out computer screens due to extreme hotness”.

I’m ignoring this.

Well, you care enough to respond for 31 pages.

Yeah but if people really dont want to respond to someone else because they lead to “pointless” arguments, why dont they just not respond to them? Seems simple enough. Whatever though, who cares!

haha, just googled Rockel, i was right.

not making a big deal that I had no idea who he was, I am sure Way and X have no Idea who Reese Hoffa, Adam Nelson, Christian Cantrell, Werner Gunthor, Mark Hustor, Marcin Dolega, and Piserenko are either.
Since your name is Heavythrower I’m guessing these people are throwing heavy shit.
cantrell, hoffa, nelson, gunthor are elite level shot put athletes, the others are world class olympic lifters, some are gold medalist.
Their conditioning was off.
hahaha!

clearly, reese needs to spend more time doing partial reps on the hammer chest machines, and taking his Indigo…

oh, and lets critique the flaws in these guys physiques…

Serious question. Is it beneficial to be that big in the shot put? I can’t see how all that extra fat is beneficial in any way. NOT attacking him, just asking. It seems like most shot putt athletes are a bit on the heavy side?

fair question…most top level shot put athletes are monsters. not only heavy, but tall. there are a few exceptions, like adam nelson, and ulf timmerman, but most are just plain big dudes.

I think you have to be pretty heavy because the torque you produce during the rotational throws is so great, unless you have a fair amount of mass it will literally throw you out of the ring.

also these guys are athletes, not bodybuilders, performance is the alpha and omega…when I was throwing, i could care less how I looked, as long as that metal ball went a few feet farther each week.

Just to say, I have Way and Prof on my friends list. Either that makes me a spiritually grounded person (Yin, Yang and all that), or I’m a schizophrenic (mental illness does run in the family).

its the second one.

Thought I was being a tad optimistic with option #1.

Interesting. I just imagined the extra weight form fat would slow them down. Although i guess right before you are about to extend your arm to shot put the ball all that extra weight translates into a shit ton of momentum

like I sais, there are some “lean” top guys out there, like Adam Nelson:

Sooo explosive. Such a beautiful sport

That looks so awesome. His motions are exactly the same every time. Almost looks like a ballerina there at the end haha but damn if he doesn’t look bad ass doing it!
